Deposit was made. The owner allowed us to come in beforehand to access the space and decorate before the set time . Brittany was very accommodating and professional.The place has a bar for you to BYOB there was a backdrop which made for a nice accent in the place with Bluetooth sound bar for music. This place has a touch of elegance and taste. Even the location was not so bad it's nestled in the hood but near the eway and parking wasn't entirely bad .

I had family and friends fly in from FL, NM, LV, P.R., and my mother walked into the hall and was super happy to see everyone it was truly magical for her and us all. A friend of mine who's a dj played music for mom, and everyone danced all night, including my 90 year old mother, we are so blessed to have been able to celebrate with her. I was so surprised to see the outdoor space next to the room where the ceremony was held. The room itself was beautiful, but seeing the outdoor greenery made it all the more magical. After the ceremony everyone retired back to the reception area for drinks. I kept trying to figure out where dinner was going to be served. While having drinks, the staff kept walking around with these amazing hors d'oeuvres! I had so many that I almost did not want to have dinner, they were that good. Well color me surprised as the same room we were in for the ceremony was transformed into a dining area, with a second room next to it set up for a band and dancing. The set up for dinner was nice and the food was actually pretty good, I mean clean your plate good. The staff did an excellent job of serving without getting in the way of things. And the speed at which they transformed the room was pretty quick. I am usually not much for wedding events but we had a great time here, in part to the lovely couple, but the venue had a big part to play in it. She kept things moving behind the scenes without ever making it feel stressful, and somehow managed to make everything feel calm, seamless, and joyful from start to finish. My friend and I went to an exhibit on Chicago Hip Hop at Hairpin and had some fun. Hairpin isn't a huge gallery plus it's big enough to fit a decent amount of work. Admission was free for our exhibit and I imagine it is most of the time. While we were there, one of the OG Chi graffiti artists was present and discussed things with us a bit. We had a fun time going to the exhibit, the staff member working was friendly & eager to get us to go to other events plus I got some pretty dope pictures of the artwork.
