A mere twenty minute drive gets you into the cute little town of Chester. I have fond memories of my first ever school trip to Chester, walking the walls admiring that clock in the centre. My love for the town remains to this day. There is an air of intimacy and romance about the place that I can't explain. Dragonfly is an absolute gem of a sanctuary should you ever have the pleasure to stay will appreciate. It looks and feels more like a town house in Chelsea or Kensington London rather than its current location. Who cares because its bloody fantastic this joint I tell thee mon peeps. You see boutique should carry a profound meaning when added to "hotel". There needs to be excessive attention to detail. It needs to have the je ne sais quoi factor (Notice how I didn't say "x"factor...cringe at that smelly show) This has all those qualities that make you thank the Lord. So whether its the races you're here for, a romantic weekend or on business dissappointment is a feeling that will be as distant as space. Now I present to you the rates oh good people. Kingsize room range between£115-£140. An absolute find this 5* boutique really is as good as it gets!!!

The food is absolutely terrible, and portions are incredibly small, for example ONE EGG for breakfast. If you are thinking of staying here, DONT!!!!! We went into Chester and my husband wanted to have a pub lunch, so we stopped here. The food was delicious everything we ordered had a great flavor and nice portions. The only complaint I have, which I will not dock stars for (because it was not the pubs fault) was the noise for construction going on smack in the middle of our lunch. Made it very hard to to have a conversation. That being said, the service was great!
