My husband and I…read morepurchased a new construction home in Grosse Pointe with zero plants or landscaping, and Tim has transformed our yard spaces in the best way possible. Tim helped me with various design options and offered plant and design recommendations without ever being pushy. He is all about customizing your spaces based off sunlight, wind, etc to make your plants thrive and last forever. Steve is very reliable, professional, helpful, and his prices are extremely fair for the very high quality of work he delivers. He provides excellent communication and honesty throughout the entire consultation and planting process. We managed the entire design process through text messages, pictures and drawings which was extremely convenient for a working professional. I could not recommend Steve enough for your landscaping, snow removal, fall cleanup, or other yard cleanup projects. If I could give him 6 stars, I would!

When looking for a local landscaping company to help us with a redesign of our backyard, we…read morecontacted several different companies only to find out... nearly no one writes you back. It is actually astonishing. That's a side note. The real news here is the professionalism of Timberline Landscaping and their quick, complete response and quote. From initially contacting Steve and his team, they immediately wrote me back, were able to provide a price quote via email with pictures we sent and then came out for an on-site visit to confirm everything and make sure that we were 100% clear on expectations, timing and the suggestions that they made for our backyard. The workmanship was done exactly as agreed to and in a professional way. They left our backyard looking exactly as we'd hoped and cleaned up and left our home and surroundings in great condition. As another reviewer alluded to, small things come up. Changes, clarifications, to a job when you're in the middle of it. Steve and his team were quick to react, communicated very well, and never asked for more money. We couldn't be happier with our decision to work with Timberline. There are tons of landscaping companies out there. Very few, if any, have the professionalism and quality of response, fair price, and great communication than Timberline. Thanks to the Timberline team for everything!

The ones who answered the calls did not do residential. had too many accounts to do a one time job, blah blah blah. Jeremy called me back (one of only 2 people of the 10) and we arranged for him to come first thing the next day. We no longer live at this house, so Jeremy called me when he completed the job the next morning. He also took the initiative to go ahead and do the walk which I had failed to ask him about. This is how business should be done - on time, as agreed. The price was just as quoted and you can bet that I will take every opportunity I get to recommend this business and use him myself in the future.

DLC responded quickly with an estimate, and after asking friends about it I was told it was a good deal. So I responded that I would like to use their service and an email was sent with a link to pay, which made it a breeze, and set up a weekly appointment during this rainy month of May. They came the same day I paid, and did a terrific job considering what I'd tried to do (it was bad) and the lawn looks great. I will put up pictures when the lawn looks a little better, because I'd tried to use an electric mower that wouldn't adjust properly so some spots are awful. Anyway, great job, guys! Seriously, I appreciate your hard work.

Then two days later texted if they could come Friday which i agreed. A no show... then very late in the afternoon texted they had a family emergency could they come Saturday. Now comes Saturday and I get a text past our appointment time if they could come later which I gave them a time they could come around 4pm Around 4 I get a text ...when are you available on Monday as we quit for the day due to rain. I again gave them a time frame when I was available on Monday after 1pm. Well again a no-show and no communications I finally sent them a text to tell them what a joke of a company and that they have no customer service skills on Monday night. Now they urgently sent a reply saying they apologize for the inconvenience and thats not how they run their company. Buyer beware, no shows..a big red flag, poor communications and just a lack of urgency when this is what they do for a living. As far as I'm concerned I dodged a bullet and you should too! P.S. This is just a follow-up on my review of Enhanced landscaping. He just called me to tell me to quote " go f**k myself" Such a classless act from a embarrassing company. Like i said...Buyer beware, terrible customer service...do you want to ever deal with a company who would rather throw insults than to solve problems.
