The Hygienist that I had (Melissa) there is always friendly, professional, thorough and very communicative. She was gentle and made me feel comfortable. If I have a dental question or concern there then Dr. Johnson or one of his hygienist were always great at answering it and making sure I understood it. His staff is all around wonderful and pleasant to be around. Setting up an appointment there is easy and they're great at sending reminders, whether it's a simple phone call or text message. I highly recommend anyone searching or even switching to a new dentistry to use Dr. Johnson's O'Fallon Family Dentistry!

I still dread going to the dentist in theory, and I always expect the worst, and I'm always wrong. And I actually like my dentist. She makes time to compare dog photos, too.

The first call the lady did not know where the bill came from and that she would call me back in which she never did. So I get another text two months later and I ask her where are sending the bill because I have not received it she had an email address that hadn't been used in years. I had updated my email and send me the bill that was this month. I also asked her to send the treatment plan as well she never did. So today I receive a call from them a rude lady stating she sent you the info I only have the invoice that's not what I asked for so I said send it please. She goes on to say well this is your last chance to pay the bill I said hold now I just received the bill. The bill is late because I never received and I do not go to that dental practice anymore I followed my dentist who left as well. This is very rude and unprofessional I don't recommend them at all.

She treated me as if I was inferior and seemed overwhelmed at her job. When I asked about my treatment she seemed personally offended and condescended with an attitude and tone. No medical professionalism here. I couldn't believe my treatment as I've been dealing w/constant pain for mos. I needed several fillings and instead of taking care of issue she wanted to do a filling here and there every month or so... telling me that I've had these for awhile so just deal with it. Again I couldn't believe what I was hearing... then she says to me, "what? I have an office full of patients... you just want me to stop everything and just take care of you?" I'm thinking well no but my pain was saying well yes. Again- I was floored. I said mam I never said that and didn't appreciate her tone and putting words in my mouth. Who would? She then said, "I don't feel comfortable treating you and suggested I get treatment elsewhere as I sat in pain in her chair. She literally punished me for questioning her treatment. After dealing with constant pain for mos I was relieved to get treatment and could not understand a timely plan as they never had one. When I had questions, she wasn't nice or empathic about my issue, drug out the issue then casted me away. I really hope no one has to endure what I did today and pray she also seeks treatment elsewhere for her issues. Save yourself... Do not go to Dr. Elizabeth "MOODY."

They kept saying my teeth were great, didn't need any work, cheap prices etc, however this past September 2024, things went downhill fast: The hygienist who "cleaned" my teeth, never scraped any plaque off of my teeth at all and did not floss teeth. Just polished. After my appointment I ended up with a severe infection in my gums 5 days later which I had to go somewhere else to diagnose. The gum pain was so bad I would cry anytime I had to eat. The hygienist was also extremely rude both on the day I was in office, and when I called for a follow up after my mouth was in pain. Ended up going somewhere else. CAN NOT RECOMMEND. Also they told me they took my insurance after I switched jobs and they didn't. So on top of terrible care they also billed me for my visit. I feel tricked because all of the reviews were great for this place. Zero stars if possible.

His daughter is now part of the practice and I've known her her whole life. It's a family office with technology you see in higher income areas so I don't have to spend additional travel time to get superior care. GF had taken her kids and been seen by Dr. Jeff on two separate occasions, but it took their office (who only has this one horrible lady managing their insurance claims) SIX MONTHS to INCORRECTLY bill the COPAY at $1800! For reference, the GF's insurance caps in-network dentistry copay at $75; but this lady has the audacity to turn a customer away from a scheduled visit because she TOO LAZY to pick up the phone and confirm with the company on the CONTRACTUAL amount their office agreed to charge to get business from this insurance's clients! So this secretary "guestimates (her words)" the the GF needs to pay $200 before she'll let her see the dentist! My partner questioned best business practice and asked for verification of the amount, that got refused. GF starts getting heated and asks to speak directly with the doctor ("Maybe the Doc values his business more than this lady does"), so the secretary refused service and asked her to leave. My GF questioning this lady almost went "Full Karen" trying to get straightforward answers on why the bills/copays were so drastically different on paper. Currently, she's in tears having lost a dentist that actually accommodated both her and her children. DO NOT give this office business with a face like this. That lady's got to go.
