And while nothing about going to the dentist is comfortable, I at least felt confident that while here, my teeth were being treated well, I wasn't getting scammed out of my money, and they truly cared about me...well, my mouth, at least. :) The assistants were wonderful and sweet, and the dentist actually surprised me with his "next-door neighbor" demeanor. A nice guy. I ended up getting my teeth cleaned but then went back and got them to replace a cap on a chipped tooth. They did a fantastic job and really paid attention to detail. I've already recommended them to friends and I certainly recommend them to anyone who asks.

Yes, those things and more happened at another dental practice, so I was hesitant. Bogey Hills Dental was great to me. The Dr. and staff were extremely efficient and made the work seem like they could do it with their eyes closed. It was a real relief to find this practice. My mom continues to see Dr. Woodruff. Words I'd use to describe them: nice and gentle. Good qualities for a dentist, right? What you need to know: They work with integrity - they are not going to recommend unnecessary work in order to make themselves money. They might not have the newest and shiniest office, but I also don't want my dental work financing those things! They are conservative in their treatment and that matters most to me. As someone who has spent large periods of my life without dental insurance and doesn't love having my teeth drilled on, I value a practice that doesn't suggest I get unnecessary work done. They often give me the "I'm going to keep an eye on this" instead of going straight to drilling and filling. In the past, I went to another dentist on a whim - most likely because they offered a new patient deal - and walked away with a long list of work they wanted to do.
