WORST obgyn ever... RUDE, judgmental, OVERPRICED, do NOT care about mothers or babies, not supportive of natural prenatal care or birth, GREEDY (will continue charging you for thousands of dollars of mystery bills months after birth). Docs are fine but business office is ridiculous. I had to cancel a surgery 30 days out due to our moving out of state and they charged me $200 cancellation fee. They said that they charged me because I canceled a surgery last year (more than 30 days out) but that was due to my losing my insurance. Sure! I can afford a $30000 surgery without insurance!!! Everyone can! I have been a patient here for over 15 years and this is how I am treated? I'm glad I am moving out of state and will have to find another provider. read more

Don't go here for prenatal care if you don't have to. My first inclination should have been calling to schedule my initial appointment and them telling me I had to wait two weeks after when I wanted to come in, because I probably wouldn't be eight weeks along yet. We wanted to confirm the pregnancy before visiting my parents for the holidays, but doctor knows best right? When I came in two weeks later, I was ten weeks along... so we missed the only opportunity to tell my family in person because I didn't know what I was talking about. Cool! The real cake here is Dr Roberts. Condescending to me as a patient, as well as toward nurses and other practitioners at Gros Ventre, and clearly more concerned about her personal schedule than individual care. She sent us home with a 24 week ultrasound photo (24, not 20 due to scheduling issues at the clinic) quite evidently indicating the gender of our baby even though we were overly outspoken about wanting to be surprised. I'm sure some first time moms wouldn't know what they were looking at, but for literally anyone who's seen an ultrasound before, the photo she sent clearly showed the baby's genitalia. Shrugged that and her general demeanor at that appt off because maybe I caught her on an off day and maybe she didn't realize what she was giving away. Everyone makes mistakes, even if it did leave me with a secret I had to hide from my husband for the next four months...!!! Nope. The next time I saw her, she openly trashed her colleagues and pressured me to schedule an induction (super easy pregnancy, no issues or concerns), then scoffed when I asked more than one question about it (trying to suss out an underlying reason for the recommendation, as it contradicted what my friend, also an OB but states away, had advised when I had previously asked her about it... Surprise, there was no good reason!) Oh, this was fun too... The day before that appt, I was notified that Dr Roberts had an emergency surgery the next morning and needed to reschedule. I told them to cancel the appointment because the only other time they could offer that worked with my schedule was three days before my next already scheduled appt, and suddenly she no longer had to miss my appt to perform an "emergency" surgery... that they knew about ahead of time... Outside of scheduling being a hot mess, the front desk harasses you about pre paying for services at every appt. Sorry, but that's not how medical insurance works. Also, I don't live in Jackson and had I any complications or serious concerns, we would have been driving to Idaho Falls instead, so no guarantee they were going to be delivering my child. After crying for a couple weeks about feeling like just another pocket for them to pick, and that medical decisions would be made based on what suited the doctor's schedule, not what was best for me individually, my husband made an appt for me to meet Dr. Leavitt in Idaho Falls. I'm sure my concern was exaggerated by hormones, but no pregnant lady should be that stressed out about their medical care! I switched clinics at 35 weeks. Best decision ever. We now laugh about how I couldn't get (or keep) an appt at GV, but somehow "Idaho's Best OB/GYN Office of 2020" (who you would think would be just as busy) was able to offer weekly appointments at the last minute. Seriously, avoid this clinic if you want to have a stress-free pregnancy!!! read more

I WILL not be returning and found a new provider ASAP! THEY gave ME fertility drugs to get pregnant, I also have PCOS well ta-da! Pregnant! I called them and their nurse basically called me a liar.. still have the voicemail (; well another doctor did and my HCG is sitting at 341 so please tell me its in my head again Annika, oh then told me to wait another 2 weeks to test again?? okay so here is the problem, I have A MEDICAL CONDITION THAT NEEDS MONITORING! They dont care about the well-being of their patients, and they NEVER answer their phone! you need to call at least 10 times for someone on the front end to answer THEN they transfer you to a voicemail and you play the waiting game and if you miss their call you have to start the process all over. I found a great doctor who is already willing to go above and beyond for me, if you are trying to become pregnant dont go to them, no bedside manor what-so ever! read more
