I had considered a cab service, but my vacations are very important to me, and didn't want to have to worry about reliability, so I decided to use Greg's service, and called to set up an appointment. An e-mail was sent with an invite that you respond to confirming your appointment, and you receive a text from the driver a half hour before pick up. My driver showed up very early, and was waiting for me at my requested pick up location. Very friendly, helped with my bags, had a beautiful Lincoln, and got me to Newark in no time! He even was kind enough to look up my departure gate at my terminal for United Airlines! Also, exchanged in pleasant talk on the way! Great service across the board, and highly recommend them and will! I also, love the flat rate that includes tolls and gratuities! Takes the guess work out of your bill. The booking process started when I sent a personal text to its owner, Bill. I had many questions about the ride and pricing and he responded to me promptly in text replies and then referred me to booking with his wife, Linda. Linda was also a joy to deal with as she also was readily available via text when I had questions. She also made a point of keeping me updated on the pickups from my home and airport, providing me with a confirmation of the addresses and the name of the driver assigned to us. We were very fortunate to be assigned Phil as our driver, who we absolutely loved. He arrived early and was extremely professional and personable. My girlfriend and I were flying to California, and being someone familiar with the area we were visiting, Phil provided us with a wealth of information. I called them Sunday morning to reserve a pick-up time of 4:00am the next day. After providing the necessary information (i.e. home address, phone number, and drop-off location) to the receptionist, I felt confident that I would not run into any issues the following morning. However, the next morning after waiting 10 minutes past my pick-up time, I decided to give them a call to find out the status of my driver. Fortunately someone picked up and told me that they would find out and give me an update. Another 10 minutes pass before I receive a call from the driver who explained that he had trouble finding the apartment and that he was only a couple minutes away. So after 5 minutes of staring out my window I see the driver pull up a couple doors down from my apartment. I head outside and as I walk towards the car, the driver drives away (probably wondering if he is in the correct location) and I am left in the dark wondering what happened. So I get on my phone and call the driver back. At this point I was very upset and worried that I would not get to the airport in time for my 6:00am flight. As I step in the car I keep my cool and inform the driver that I need to get to the airport ASAP. When we arrive at the airport the driver drops me off at the wrong departure level (i.e. Level 3) and I am forced to run to the TSA checkpoint at Level 2, which at this point is filled with passengers. By the time I get through security I hear my name being called for final boarding and I sprint to the gate. I eventually make it on the plane in time for my departure, but the experience left me very bitter towards Advanced Transportation. I wish the first impression with them was better, but unfortunately I do not plan on using them in the future.
