No one notified us about the damage before leaving. After we contacted the company and provided the evidence, they acknowledged the situation and told us they would pay for the repairs. We sent them the repair bill as requested, but since then we have not received payment and our attempts to resolve the issue have gone unanswered. We gave them multiple opportunities to handle this professionally, but unfortunately we are now considering pursuing the matter through civil court. Customer service and accountability have been extremely poor in our experience. I strongly recommend reading other customers' reviews and the company's responses before deciding to hire them.

Unfortunately, at the start of summer 2026 it was clear that the drains could not handle heavier summer rains. One of the drains had water gushing out of the cleanup valve (photo). The follow-up communication with Emerald was underwhelming. They declined to help me troubleshoot the issue unless I paid a $98 site visit fee. Instead, they proposed additional work to rectify the issue without acknowledging that the work was not completed correctly in the first place. Their "proposal" is comical- it looks like something my 5 year old would draw (photo). I've since redone the work myself with a drain that is properly sloped. I've also included photos of a leaky downspout they would not acknowledge along with an upgrade I did myself with $50 in parts from Home Depot.
