They are the first building contractors we have found that do EVERYTHING the right way (we have tried bigger and smaller firms). They genuinely care about doing a great job. Communication is clear and transparent, and the job is detailed. We were provided a specification list of all fittings, along with a work design drawing for practical purposes and 3D visuals of what the bathroom would look like. Before work started, everything was scheduled and the process flowed beautifully. All permits were handled without any involvement from us and they used a straight forward project app to ensure we had daily updates. I've added some photos but it's hard to show exactly how much difference this addition en-suite has made to our home and all the behind the scenes electrics and plumbing required to make it happen. We are over the moon with the end result and enjoyed the structured process of delivery. We are about to contract with them to renovate an existing en-suite and build a new hidden walk in closet. We are doing a complete renovation of a home from 1898 and it has been a labor of love restoring some of the original features and adding modern conveniences. All of the rooms were carpeted, and one of the first things we knew we were going to do with the house was expose and refinish the hardwood. We were surprised / disappointed to find out when we removed the carpet that the floors originally had an area rug and was stained around - a fairly common practice at the time. What that meant for us was that we would always have a "ring" around the perimeter that was a different color. We were almost to the point of covering with new floor, afraid of what the end results would look like. But Jared was passionate that if these were his floors, he would be refinishing them. I love that personal investment, and I am so glad that we took the chance refinishing! Yes, you can see that little bit of a perimeter, but I am absolutely in love with the floors and all of the character they bring. More impressive was our main entry stairs. The woodworking on the stairs is incredible, and one of the things we most loved about the house, but the entire staircase was completely carpeted. We took off the carpet and it had this awful and impossible-to-remove green glue. Again, after a couple of days of trying to remove it, we were ready to give up on them and re-carpet and after talking to Jared he said "we can do this." So not only did they clean up the stairs completely, but he managed to mix and create the perfect stain color to match the old chestnut on the stairs - a mix of brown, orange, and yellow - depending on the angle you were looking at! They turned out absolutely incredible and are going to be a centerpiece in our home. Overall, I loved Jared's approach to the work, collaboration, and personality. He was absolutely the right fit for us, gave us a competitive price, and we are thrilled with the results. Thanks for caring about our place and giving us floors we will treasure forever!
