What an amazing place with dedication to customers and their satisfaction…read more Bought a car from them and had concerns of oil burning. A couple months later after putting in 10quarts of oil in between changes, we find out there was a recall on the engine. We purchased the insurance and warranty on the engine and drivetrain. After having the vehicle looked at by an authorized dealer, the repair costs were several thousand $ beyond what the warranty would cover... Enter heroes without capes: Hayes Family Auto. Brad took the time to make some calls and found out what he could do to help make sure the repairs got done and much closer to the budget. We were able to pay extra for small fine tuning and parts that made sense to change while the engine was open. We now have a vehicle that is far better than what we initially bought. We are super pleased with our vehicle and even more pleased with the all around service and willingness to go the distance and make sure the vehicles they sell do as well! Thanks!

After trying to negotiate because the car was clearly well over priced we were basically laughed at so we left. Thankfully we chose to go to Jefferson to a different auto dealer and found a much better deal. I will never recommend this place to anyone in the future. A waste of time.

After working with some dealerships in the Milwaukee-area, we were not finding the service and/or offers that we were hoping for. I went out to Kayser Automotive because they had a Jeep Renegade with all the options we were looking for. I connected with Glen in the sales department. Glen was fantastic from the get-go. Glen coordinated and confirmed my test drive in the Renegade. Upon arriving for my test drive, Glen had the Renegade ready to go and presented the opportunity to either test with him or without him. I test drove without him because I wanted to get a feel for the car and not be pressured into anything. Glen told me to take my time and he would be there for any questions when I got back. I went on a 20-minute test drive and enjoyed the vehicle. Glen was able to answer all of my questions, presented options for purchasing, offered a fair deal on our trade-in, and let me know that I could contact him whenever. My wife and I looked around for a couple more days, but we kept coming back to the service and deals Kayser had to offer. We told Glen that we wanted the Renegade, and he proceeded to hold it for us. We came in to purchase the vehicle a couple of days later, but we hit an issue with our bank-approved loan. Steve, in the sales department, worked with us to correct the issue and get us on our way. While the finance paperwork was going through, Glen went over all the features of the Renegade. Glen also assisted us in setting up our vehicle before we drove off the lot. This was a great car buying experiencing and look forward to working with Kayser again in the future.

If that was the end of this story, I could have given the folks at Kayser Watertown a 5 star review. Unfortunately, I ended up having to put $1,500 of repairs into the vehicle in the first 4 months; $700 of that in the first week of ownership. This was a 2008 vehicle with fewer than 50k miles. I expressed my displeasure to the general manager on two occasions was told that 1) their service department did their due diligence, 2) my mechanic was being over cautious or possibly doing unnecessary repairs, 3) these were routine maintenance items (brakes, shocks, battery, sway bars, ABS sensor...), 4) I should adjust my attitude concerning my purchase and somehow be happy that all of these routine items are now out of the way for a while... So, take what you will from this cautionary tale but buyer beware...

Thursday came with no word, so I called. They gave me a quote of $695. Seemed pretty high, and I let him know. He said that's the worst case scenario, it would probably be less. He gave me no time frame as to when it would be done. Tried to call Friday, only to find their closed Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Stopped in early Monday morning, he gave me some lame excuse, and said tomorrow. Long story short, when I went to pick it up, he wasn't man enough to talk to me, and it was more than his worst case scenario. $705. I'm 64 and not my first rodeo, but this place is the worst! Hope this review can stop even 1 person from the BS their spewing.

On top of that I had just installed new Struts (Reason I needed Alignment) so not like they needed something to break them free that soon after.
