Hence, I have come here a couple times now to play pickleball... I have met many nice people with different levels of play from beginners to advanced to professionals. It has been really fun. Great work out indeed. Looking forward to playing more pickleball after the tournament. I played high school tennis many blue moons ago... I have to say, pickleball is definitely a great alternative to tennis. This indoor center is actually a roller skating rink and gets transformed to pickleball courts as needed. It also has video games. They have league pickleball play on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and open pickleball play on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting from 6:00 PM until close. Subs can participate on league nights for $6.00. Open play is $5.00. Staff is friendly and pleasant. It's a great place to get some sports activity throughout the week. Come join the fun!

I was…read moreimpressed with Kendra's help over the phone, but what truly exceeded my expectations was the actual party. Kendra and her team were absolutely incredible. I had planned a few games and expected to struggle organizing 40+ kids, but I quickly realized I wasn't doing it alone; Kendra and her team were right there helping every step of the way. Kendra truly has the patience of a saint. She was fantastic with the kids and even wore pajamas to fully lean into the party theme, which the kids loved. I'm beyond grateful for all of their help, and the party was such a hit because of them. Safe to say this may be our new annual Christmas party spot!

We were supposed to go in at 3:30, we did not go in until 3:45 according to staff it was due to the previous party taking long to leave... we were the second ones to arrive but our party was the the last one to get seated and that's only because my sister asked one of the girls. Once in there everything was fine until they brought the pizza. The pizza was cold! We were never told the do not make the pizza there! The package we got came with 4 pizzas and we were told on the phone that if we needed more we could just let them know the day of but it would take a little longer. Once the pizza arrived besides being cold we realized it was from little Caesars. I don't mind the pizza being from there BUT at least make sure it's hot! The young lady who was helping us with the pizza and drinks would just take things without asking. When it was time to clean she didn't ask if people were done, she just started taking off the plastic table cover with everything still on the table and rolling it getting ready to throw everything away until we told her that there was personal stuff on there! That's just rude! You ask if people are done not just assume everything on the table is trash. Then she took the pitchers with soda without letting anyone know and people were still drinking specially when they were done skating. When it was time the security starts staring you down by your table and starts saying you need to hurry up and get all your things, my husband told him oh you guys want us to hurry but didn't mind letting us in late well now we're going to take our time. Overall this place needs a lot of improvement when it comes to organizing parties. Train your employees to always ask the people on their tables if they are done with something before throwing it away or taking it away. Sell little Caesar's pizza double/triple the price but at least make sure it's hot before serving it!

When I let them know I didn't have cash, they directed me to an ATM just inside of the play area entrance, where I was able to see the actual play area. It was very dark, looked unkempt, didn't smell good, and they were playing Ride Wit Me by Nelly, which is definitely not a kid-friendly song! My daughter and I walked out and went to another kid's indoor playground instead. I'm glad I didn't pay online first before seeing it in person.

They have both blades and 4wheel skates that can be rented. Now the place is dated but that's the vibe I'm looking for in a skating rink and if it keeps the prices down that is cool. So my only gripe is that they charge admission for non-skaters at the same price as skaters. I don't understand this, like if grandma wants to take grandkids to skate and she doesn't want to participate you're really charging her same price minus skate rental? I get that fire marshall puts a restriction on people capacity and maybe that's why they do this but honestly the business should consider making adults free or just a buck or two WITH a paid child admission and IF not skating as well. It's $20 including skates, lasts one hour and you get to stay for the 2.5hr session following the class to practice what you learn. Such a great deal! A few things we didn't like: 1. They charge an additional $6 for walkers that kids can use while learning. But both times we've rented them people just take them if we leave them by our table to use the restroom or to try one lap without them. Staff mentioned it's a common "thing" for them to be taken, so they should just not charge for them- especially since kids get confident fast and don't need them for long. 2. The DJ played fun music but talked over it too much at times. 3. They charge full entry even if you're just going to watch your kids and aren't skating. Overall, we had a fun time, loved the instructors and the staff and would go back.

I'm not too sure about prices or activities like stick time or public skating, but I give it 4 stars if you're just here to watch a hockey game or practice. Ice looked pretty decent, place is pretty clean, and it's a pretty cool vantage point to watch from the balcony area upstairs. A little too far from my house, but good to know this place is here in case I ever want to come back and play or skate.

My 14 year old daughter started her artistic roller skating journey 7 years ago in the Saturday group classes. She had no prior skating experience before participating in the entry-level Saturday morning sessions. From those humble beginnings, she began taking private lessons with Coach Chris, who will be her coach forevermore, and recently also added weekly lessons with Coach Vicky. My daughter is now a two-time American Championships national champion. Skating is her passion and a major driving force in her life. It has taught her valuable life lessons and given her discipline, structure, resilience, and a sense of purpose. One of her favorite sayings is: "Fall 7 times, get up 8!" All of the coaches at FVSC are either current or former national and/or world champions in the discipline of artistic roller skating. The facility is very well-maintained. The staff is incredibly helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. The sound system is top-notch and there's a giant mirrorball, plus state-of-the-art lighting that changes colors. The skating club participates in a variety of local and national competitions every year and always collectively brings home an impressive number of awards, medals, trophies, and accolades. And novices and beginners are welcomed into the Saturday classes with open arms! Fountain Valley Skating Center also offers birthday parties and fundraising events. You can rent the rink for a private event, but you'd better make your reservation early, since many people will reserve an event six months or more in advance! We held my daughter's 10th, 13th, and 14th birthday parties at FVSC as private events, and they were epic! You can also host birthday parties alongside public skating sessions, which is a more budget-friendly option that is still super fun and includes skate rentals for your guests! There are even adult learn to skate sessions where roller rookies like me can get on the rink floor and work on improving our skills! The Fountain Valley Skating Center is an absolute gem, a place where the whole family can have fun together and couples young and old can go for date night. We love FVSC!!
