I am extremely disappointed with Laser Away and their consistently poor customer service…read more From the very beginning, I've encountered countless scheduling and system issues that have made it impossible to move forward with my treatment confidently. At my first appointment in September, I was told just two hours before my scheduled time that someone else had double-booked my slot and asked to come later. I explained I couldn't due to work, but was told to come in anyway. Then, just 15 minutes before my appointment, while I was already on my way, I got another call saying they couldn't accommodate me and I would need to reschedule. When I finally showed up for my first service, their computer system was down, and I had to wait around 20 minutes before the technician proceeded. After the session, the system was still down, and I was told someone would call me the next day to schedule my second appointment. I provided my name, but no one ever followed up. I had to take the initiative myself and reach out in January just to schedule my second appointment. For my second visit, I arrived for my scheduled appointment only to be told they had no record of my appointment, forcing me to reschedule again. The recurring system and scheduling issues make me not even want to go back to finish my treatment. I would strongly advise everyone to avoid this place.

They take the time to explain everything and check in to make sure I'm doing okay, which I really appreciate. The clinic itself is spotless and well-organized, with a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Equipment looks modern and well-maintained, and I never have to wait long to be seen. Overall, I'm really happy with my experience here and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for effective laser hair removal in a clean, professional environment!!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting the manager Shannon who is so pleasant and welcoming. I had a blowout with Andrea. She used their Dream Dry x Masami products in my hair (shampoo, conditioner & serum) which left my hair feeling clean & shiny and also smells amazing. I was surprised at how beautiful my hair came out and how quickly it was done. I have long hair so it usually takes a lot longer. I also had my brows touched up and lashes tinted by Kim who was really amazing as well. I'll definitely be back for more services. The space is large, welcoming, modern, clean and conveniently located in the village. Open now with safety measures in place. Please support your local businesses!

This review is for my experience with eyelash extensions. I emailed someone from Blvd a week later…read moreto explain my experience and give them a chance to resolve this but another week has past and I've yet to hear back. This was by far the WORST experience with eyelashes I've ever had. It's been two weeks and all of my lashes have fallen out. When I got home, I noticed lashes started to fall out immediately that night but I figured it was just a couple of loose ones so I didn't think anything of it. However, I did notice they were uneven -- the right side had way more lashes than the left. I then noticed they continued to fall out all week. Nobody, not even my sisters noticed I had gotten my lashes done and the whole point of getting lashes is for a noticeable difference! $180 for what?! Also, the technician had her hands all over my face and nose the entire time. They were heavy on my forehead and thankfully I don't have sensitive skin but if I did I could've broken out. When working on my left eye, she kept pushing down on one of my nostrils, blocking it and I have a sensitive nose so that was frustrating!! I've never experienced this before and it was so uncomfortable and felt like this was very new to her. I've been getting my lashes done frequently for the past 3 years. I take care of my lashes and brush them so they last long. I always go to Lash Loft in the city because it was near my office but wanted to try somewhere closer to home since my office moved locations. I've paid the same price for lashes that look even, full, and last over a month because that's what it should be like. Such a waste of money and soooo disappointed. Don't come here for lashes because this is NOT what it should be like.

It has not healed in weeks. They insisted I come in to the store to inspect in person , which I did. In spite of that they have the audacity to say I "believe" there was a reaction. This shows how sensitive they are to their customers. If they really care about the customer service, then refund me my money. Do they really think I would come back to this place for waxing after the experience I've had. This should tell people how this place cares about their customers. I have been requesting them for a refund but they kept telling me no and "do whatever you need to" which has forced me to put this review. If you need anymore evidence, checkout other reviews on Yelp and Google about this place. Each time a customer has not had a good experience, instead of accepting and fixing it, they have instead framed the customer as being wrong. ------------------------ Original Review Be very careful if you're considering laser hair removal at this place. I am beyond disappointed and furious with my laser hair removal experience at Dare to Be Bare in Hartsdale! I went in for a laser hair removal treatment that left me with severe burns and discoloration--weeks later, I'm still healing, both physically and emotionally. The technician never fully explained the potential risks or complications and instead kept assuring me that the treatment was safe and effective for my skin type, claiming most clients see little to no hair regrowth after completing their sessions. During the treatment, I experienced intense burning and pain, which I voiced immediately. I was told, "Your skin doesn't feel hot, so you're fine." That couldn't have been more wrong. I followed all aftercare instructions as provided, but just days later, my skin turned very dark and visibly burned. When I reached out to the owner to request a refund, not only did she dismissed my injuries, but she also refused to take any accountability. I received zero support, no empathy, and no refund--just a cold response that this was a "normal skin reaction" and I should have read the contract. I trusted this place with my skin and relied on their professional guidance. Instead, I was left with lasting damage and no sense of responsibility from their side. I do not recommend Dare To Be Bare in Hartsdale to anyone. Please do your homework before undergoing any laser treatments. Ask questions, understand the risks, and don't just take someone's word for it.

I was 10 mins early for my appointment and the front desk staff was decently friendly. They said I could be seen now, but of course another client walked in 10 minutes late for her appointment so she was taken it at 9:40 and my appointment for the same waxer was at 9:45. This was irritating because then i was seen about 15 minutes late. Other than that, Dina my waxer was friendly and gave me some tips about holding the skin to ease the pain. The wax was piping hot, like border line burning me so if you're sensitive to heat maybe ask them to blow on the wax for You. she also never double dipped which is always a concern when I try out new places. I was in and out and she got all the hair on my body. One thing I didn't like was she was pushing their products on me and even put it on the counter for when I paid for my wax. I had to politely tell the desk people i didn't want - but it put me in such an awkward situation. If you tip in cash you put it in the envelope with their name on it and drop it in the box, just a heads up. I wouldn't say I'm loyal to Dina or European wax center but it was a decently pleasant experience given my regular waxer was not available. It was also only $27 dollars for my first wax which was a pleasant surprise.
