I was quoted 2 to 4 hours to move a 2 bedroom condo 6 miles away. It took 8.5 hours so my bill was $1,000 over my quoted price. Classic bait and switch as I told the movers what I was quoted and he said "Oh I hate it when he does that" and refused to address it or offer a discount in any way. We also had a videographer who wanted to film them moving for their website who wanted to talk the whole time and slow them down considerably adding more time to the bill. *Important note, I had everything ready to go when the movers arrived. **Also important to note, they did not damage any of my belongings or walls.
