First timers on a June Saturday afternoon. We had heard about the variety of activities here, so…read moreduring the Summer Market we wanted to check it out. Going by the nickname Hoffs, this is an old building with four public rooms and eclectic decor. Every item on the walls or sitting around seems to have a history. Two bars are downstairs. One is large with tables. The other is small where patrons can buy drinks to take out to the patio, and back area on grass or gravel. This is not a dress up place, but come as you are. Bands of all genres play on the patio. Get a drink, get food from various food trucks, sit at a table and enjoy people watching or meet up with friends.
Upstairs is a small saloon style room with overstuffed chairs. A large room is full of tables. People were playing Scrabble. Hoff's has craft classes, trivia nights and open mic. Coming up are Indigo Shibori Dyeing workshop, how to make Sourdough Bread, Abba Night, various bands, and more summer and holiday markets (vendors under tents). Food is always from food trucks, or a pizza shop across the street. This venue is old, junky, yet cool. Lots going on.
