I went to Gridley country Ford and transferred my service over there hoping to get a better service level and it is incredible. I dropped off my lightning today. The other dealer misdiagnosed this with the wrong part that's been supposedly on backorder for six months they have already wasted hours of time to fix this and to get the right part so because of this, I have a fleet of 18 vehicles, that I will be servicing all of my vehicles from this point forward, including all my personal vehicles. When I told him that I was only looking to spend around $20K he seemed to lose interest in helping me. My kid's new (used) car broke down and a mechanic in Chico told him it was something that had to be diagnosed by a Ford dealership. The one in Chico said they could take care of it in 3 weeks or so. I was desperate to find a solution (from 500 miles away) and Gridley Country Ford really came through. Initially I spoke to Joel who was polite and professional and reassured me that I could have the car towed to them and they would make time to take a look at it the following day. After that, I coordinated everything Miguel. He was a great communicator who stayed in touch with me throughout the repair process and he was kind and understanding about the situation. The repair turned out to be a simple fuse replacement but since the experience was so good I asked them to replace the spark plugs as well. The parts weren't in stock but they tracked them down quickly, in time for the pick up time we'd discussed. Miguel told me to have my kid ask for him personally and he would walk him over to the cashier and give him the keys. Just bought a used pickup from them. Good service from the salesman. OK negotiating. But 2 issues left a sour taste. First, the back seat had a small cut. When I mentioned it, the salesman said they would have their upholstery guy repair it. No promises to look like new, but they'd have him do the best he could. Well, during the final paperwork, the sales manager "forgot" to put that in the paperwork, until I reminded him. OK. Maybe so. But I got the feeling that he was very used to apologizing for forgetting to put stuff in. Second, this model of truck come with a system called BoxLink in the bed. It has locking tie down points. A minor selling point but was mentioned during the sales pitch. Except I didn't get any keys for it. Being a used truck, they didn't get the keys passed along to them. BUT, they'd be happy to sell me some keys for $40. Kinda like buying new tires, then getting charged extra for air that goes in them. Cheap! Overall, OK. But watch yourself. read more

I live in San Diego California. I found the exact vehicle I was looking for online Gridley country Ford. I messaged them and Salesman Marcus contacted me quickly. Their communication was great, which is extremely important to me. The 2017 Expedition limited was as described. The price was reasonable. I did not negotiate which is not like me. Because the vehicle was hard to find with the specific options I wanted. I flew into the Sacramento airport and Marcus picked me up. He drove me 1 Hours drive back to the dealership. I traveled 18 hours to get this vehicle. I would do it again if all of the circumstances were the same. But obviously would be nicer to purchase a vehicle closer to home. read more

Not happy with the customer service the salesmen provided here. I came in looking for a different salesmen but sadly he went home sick. I forgot my driver license so I could not test drive the car but my husband did. Later on we waited for them to do an appraisal on my car. They said they could not do it because I did not have a driver licences. I did not understand why not having a driver license was important to appraising my car. I had an ID and I had the registration under my name. With the choice they made on not appraising my car, they have lost my business. Which Is sad because I really liked that car. And I wanted it. I had my 2010 Raptor seviced here and they scratched all 4 of my wheels. I showed the damage to the service manager and explained that this truck wheels has never been off the truck except for tire rotation by this Dealership. This Raptor has a rack on the bed for carriering kiacks and can't be ran through a car wash, as a result I hand wash it and the only other person who has washed is this Dealership. The service manager said they couldn't have done it so its my problem. The scratches on my wheels showed up after my last tire rotation and balancing. The balancing weights were installed on the outside of the Mag Wheels and the scratches are between the spokes on all four wheels. It will cost me $2,600 to buy replacement wheels. We made an appointment late in the afternoon, but he was able to accommodate us earlier in the day without a problem. He was very kind, personable, and knowledgeable about the vehicle (especially for being newer to the company). Ed was wonderful in helping us get our approval and was also a pleasure to speak with. He even gave us a few tips on selling our vehicle ourselves since we decided not to trade it in. This is by far the best car dealer I have ever been to in my life and I have bought cars since 1967. I saw their ad in Wheels and Deals and went out there to buy a car. totally honest and low key, real small town friendliness courtesy and personal attention, the deal was easy, fun and pleasant. Even the finance manager was super, and they usually are awful. Yet the selection is big -city large...............amazing. It's a family run business and most of the employees have worked there for years and years. My salesman had been there for 19 years and was a very satisfied employee, and was so easy to work with. That was just the beginning though. I have returned there over and over for routine service and every single time I am treated like royalty there. .It is totally worth the 1 hour drive from Grass Valley. In fact I think it's well worth the drive from anywhere in the Sacramento Valley. No wonder they got the Ford Motor Company's award for dealer excellence. I asked if they worked with the specific bank, and he said yes. Once I got there, everything changes. I hear that he doesn't know why, but they don't use them any more. Bought a new ford explorer for my wife and Koady made it a pretty painless process. Small town ford dealer with good prices on nice rigs. We were looking at leasing brand new but with money we had down on trade we did not want to lose that in 3 years when it came time to end lease, so we looked at used. They had an immaculate 16 explorer limited with low miles and much less in cost saving us more than 10k but still keeping all the same warranties. We got there at 5 after work one afternoon and they had the car washed up and ready for us when we go there. Looked the car over and we were sold. By time we left it was dark. Next day I was looking the car over after work and I noticed a weird fade in some plastic, being a previous rental car who knows. I asked Koady about it and he said bring it in to Chuck and they will take care it. Long story short it was just a small blemish but one neither of us saw andChuck ordered the part and replacing it at no charge to us. New or used they stand by their cars and take care of their customers. Replacing that small part showed me you all care and that means a lot.
