This dental surgary is right in the town centre and masses of parking and buses right on the doorstep so would struggle to be anymore convenient! A nice big surgery that feels open plan and airy. In my expereince, it has always been easy enough to get an apointment at a time that is convenient for you and they have a sensible aproach to you needing to reschedule which can be refreshing! Nice and easy to get the kids registrered as well. The one and ony downside is how dificult it is to get a buggy up there! There are a ton of steps that have to be negotiated in order to enter! A seriously bad dental practice. They are located on the top floor of a building without a lift and only a very narrow and steep staircase. This means that it is extremely difficult for elderly and people with children to access. I had to carry a pushchair in one hand and a baby in the other. Not good - in fact quite dangerous. Furthermore, they have very out dated processes (everything has to be in writing - they do not have the internet or emails and you cannot talk about cases over the phone) which makes it very difficult to communicate with them. I have found the staff to be quite rude, stubborn, and seems like they do not care about the wellbeing of the individual - only trying to force you into private healthcare. I phoned the surgery yesterday due to being in a tricky spot with a broken tooth! They were so helpful, offering a same day or next day appointment. I visited this-morning and went straight in. The dentist was lovely, very kind, reassuring and sorted my tooth promptly! Reception staff always friendly and chatty. Highly recommend. read more
