The location is sketchy. Right across from a men's club. Nothing but hook ups. It's more for long time stays I feel like.

Concerning: They require and photocopied ID for everyone in the RV. Why? "In case there's an emergency". I'm not happy about having my DL info out there. Could use improvement: The park's roads are patched and potholed and speed bumped. The showers have no table or hooks for your clothes. There is no recycling bin. Worst of all, the patches of grass are mostly thorny goathead briars that get stuck to your shoes and make life miserable in your RV. The park advertises spacious lots; maybe by 1940 standards, but not now. Most residents seem to be long-term, not travelers.

I myself will not be back !! You have to pay extra for everything .. After working all night they called me around 9-10 am waking me up asking me to move a car that wasn't even associated with me.. loss of water many times in my 2 month stay. I had to bring to there attention that they had people parking In front of my camper , I could not even get to tongue of camper if I had to leave in case of emergency .. VERY DISSATISFIED !!

This review is about the campground only. I would give the old section a rating of 1…read more The new part at $50 a night looks very nice and has water, sewer, electric. The older part at $25 a night is an absolute dump and has water and electric. There is a dump available right there. Sites are extremely close. Your picnic table is a few feet from the neighbor's table end to end with the RVs being parked on the outside of the tables putting them right between the RVs. If you want to sit at your table and eat or talk, you are just a few feet from your neighbor. The road is is horrible. Be careful of the big holes. There is a bathroom shower house in the old section but it is permanently shut down so you have to go to the one in the new section that is 3/10 of a mile away. Yes, I checked it. You cannot cut across the field as there is water flowing through it and very tall, at least waist high weeds. If you need a quick dump, fill, and place to spend the night and don't plan on leaving your RV it is tolerable. If you want a place to enjoy your spot, be outside, or even speak to each other without the neighbors 5 feet away, either pay $50 or move on. Just as an FYI they do have a coyote problem so do not leave pets or kids outside alone. This is not an isolated problem and is not just this spot. But is something to be aware of.

This is our go-to spot every time my husband and I come to Corpus for a beach getaway. Lots of people bring canopies, and we saw some that had bag holders for the canopies so your beach bag isn't full of sand on the bottom. We'd also advise a picnic/outdoor blanket to set stuff on and cup holders that go into the sand to hold your beverage. It's fun to watch the local surf school give lessons, and there are lots of locals/families.

Padre Balli Park - This is taken standing at the front end of the old part looking toward the bathroom. It is a 3/10 of a mile walk.
