Amazing Bus Ride, Around Knoxville My two son's and I have…read morebeen riding, the Knoxville Are Transit for years. There are so many things that have changed over the years. Knoxville Area Transit has moved from downtown from in front of the court house to a brand new facility on Church Street. They have also expanded their routes, and extended their ride on Sundays. And kid's under 5 years old ride for free. There is only one thing that has not change with the Knoxville Area Transit. The kindness of each bus driver, and how they all bend over backwards to make sure every passenger arrived safe and on time to their destination each day. To every Knoxville Area Transit driver, thanks for a safe bus ride at every bus stop.

Drivers rude and nasty. Tonight I was 35 minutes early for the last #15 bus. It never arrived at Broadway and Coker. I had to walk over 2 hours to get home. And I have to be to work tomorrow at 7 am. Every day I use the bus, the bus is always late. It causes me to miss my 2nd bus. How come these…read morebuses are never on time? There's no schedule for each day of when a bus should be at the station, other than how long it'll be until it gets there. Even that, the buses are still LATE! Most times I need to rely on an Uber to get somewhere that's barely a 5 minute drive. To me, the staff doesn't even seem to care. This is the saddest public transportation I've ever seen in any city.
