We were set to arrive early but got dropped off in the wrong spot by or Uber driver. We got help from staff at their own site daycare center and everyone was so friendly and hospitable that a shuttle service was radioed to pick us up and dropped us off in-front of the building where the tour was scheduled -- TOTAL SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY HANDS DOWN! FIRST: We checked in with security upon arrival and received a radio and lanyard. SECOND: We were brought into a room with other guests for an opening movie where we got to hear a bit of back story on the company. Our Tour Host: Evan Hodges was GREAT & Very Informative!!! THIRD: LET THE TOUR BEGAN!!! Saw the Test Kitchen and "the Nest" which is their training center. Got to see Chick-fil-A's History Museum which included old school cars and the Original BAT MOBILE!!! LASTLY: We were guided through Truett's office, saw a Closing Movie and Visited their Gift Shop! It was an unforgettable time that I was honored and grateful to have experienced such a storytelling experience inspired by the life and vision of Chick-fil-A's founder, S. Truett Cathy. It was a great BLESSING to have been invited at no cost to me and my guests! Please Note: Affordable tickets can be purchased for this experience on their website: www.tours.chick-fil-a.com I DEFINITELY recommend to anyone who is an avid Chick-fil-A Lover and encourage learning about this amazing company's unique story... it's truly... one. of. a. kind. Well for starters the bus arrived late and pushed the arrival/ start time back. When we got on to…read morethe bus there was a safety hazard with the steps they were already steep but also at the top you could possibly trip. Also when the host gave the introduction he said "If you don't like it the door is down there." He also said "If you fall down you will be on world star." An as we were departing from the bus we didn't even get to go boxes until someone asked. Over all the food was mid . The tumblers we got to take with us were dirty & so were the tables and floors etc. But otherwise the experience was nice along with the whole aesthetic.

The bus was beautifully decorated inside and out. The stairway up is narrow and not recommended for…read moreanyone with mobility issues. While we had the Luxe package, we didn't receive all the promised menu items: the deviled egg basket, caviar, red velvet cake, emerald dream, and preserve variety. The chicken salad was so dry it crumbled off the bread. The lobster roll had no flavor. Inasmuch as it would have been nice to have salt and pepper, there is the likelihood of things sliding on the table. So we had to keep our drinks on the placemats and individually request sugar. A Bridgeton like experience was offered. Two people worked the tea: one served and one sang and gave limited tour guide information. We left late and came back early. The tour guide was singing and taking pictures for people and overlooked sites on the tour to include Centennial park. I recommend they play the Bridgeton soundtrack and have the guide focus more on providing information versus singing. The website link sends you to the NW address despite the actual location being at NE. The bus stops across from the Trader Vic's sign which is around the side of the Hilton. This is why past reviewers have missed the bus.

I am starting on my 4th year here in Atlanta. I find myself to be a social, community driven,…read morevolunteering type of person. Transitioning to Atlanta was somewhat difficult for me. It was hard to make friends (keep in mind, I am social type of person) and do the things I love. I met Steve on Facebook. He was so kind and you could tell from his posts, that he just wanted to help people. I finally reached out to him and attended an event. It was an event that was the beginning to my "normal." It was the first event I attended and honestly was a bit nervous bc I have been to "meet-up" groups and well they weren't all pleasant experiences. Everyone was so nice, inviting, down to earth just good people. Everyone has their own personality, no one judges, we come together do fun events, events that help our community, we learn at these events...it's just an awesome experience. I could write a whole page!! The point is...I got involved with this group looking to make friends. Not only did I make friends, but these friends turned into my second family here in Atlanta. I can't explain the type of gratitude I feel towards everyone in this group. If you are looking for fun, adventurous, community helping type of people, your search has finally ended!
