We were set to arrive early but got dropped off in the wrong spot by or Uber driver. We got help from staff at their own site daycare center and everyone was so friendly and hospitable that a shuttle service was radioed to pick us up and dropped us off in-front of the building where the tour was scheduled -- TOTAL SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY HANDS DOWN! FIRST: We checked in with security upon arrival and received a radio and lanyard. SECOND: We were brought into a room with other guests for an opening movie where we got to hear a bit of back story on the company. Our Tour Host: Evan Hodges was GREAT & Very Informative!!! THIRD: LET THE TOUR BEGAN!!! Saw the Test Kitchen and "the Nest" which is their training center. Got to see Chick-fil-A's History Museum which included old school cars and the Original BAT MOBILE!!! It was cold and windy that day; luckily, the trolley was heated, and the weather did not affect the tour. This tour is a great deal, priced under $40, to get a detailed overview of the main neighborhoods in and around Atlanta. These days, you will pay a lot more to drive around in an Uber or Lyft, and you won't get a tour guide giving you the history behind the landmarks you will see. The only stop made on this tour is at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center. You will have some time to explore the Center, but not enough to see everything in this area. Ebenezer Baptist Church is next to the Center, and the trolley drives by MLK Jr.'s birth home. At the time I visited, the home was temporarily closed for renovations. For a more in-depth tour of the neighborhood, you will need to return on your own.

Even though I requested all vegetarian while booking there were meat sandwiches in the plates on our reserved table. Teas were listed to be 5 varieties and they brought only 2 out that too after half the food was eaten. So bad that it lasted like boiled water. They didn't even do the full 1.5 hrs on the bus and dropped us back a little before 5. Complete disappointment all thru. Pls stay out of this scam! It was the first event I attended and honestly was a bit nervous bc I have been to "meet-up" groups and well they weren't all pleasant experiences. Everyone was so nice, inviting, down to earth just good people. Everyone has their own personality, no one judges, we come together do fun events, events that help our community, we learn at these events...it's just an awesome experience. I could write a whole page!! The point is...I got involved with this group looking to make friends. Not only did I make friends, but these friends turned into my second family here in Atlanta. I was on a five day trip from AL to NY with four buses and had an awful experience that was 100%…read moredue to bus driver problems. My bus drivers often didn't know where they were going and the passengers ended up navigating. Near the end of a 28-hour trip after she almost missed the exit (passengers had to raise their voices to get her attention), our driver said, "Oh, I see the exit now. It's hard for me to see at night." It was 2:00 am. I was often afraid for my safety and the safety of 200 high school students, parents, and teachers. My son's bus ended up repeatedly missing an exit and looped an area of Newark four times (yes, four times, this was confirmed via Life 360) while the other buses only looped three times. If you're planning a trip, I would want full documentation attesting to the competency of the drivers, no matter what bus company you use. The potential for disaster is unbearable to think of. These drivers were not competent.
