We were set to arrive early but got dropped off in the wrong spot by or Uber driver. We got help from staff at their own site daycare center and everyone was so friendly and hospitable that a shuttle service was radioed to pick us up and dropped us off in-front of the building where the tour was scheduled -- TOTAL SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY HANDS DOWN! FIRST: We checked in with security upon arrival and received a radio and lanyard. SECOND: We were brought into a room with other guests for an opening movie where we got to hear a bit of back story on the company. Our Tour Host: Evan Hodges was GREAT & Very Informative!!! THIRD: LET THE TOUR BEGAN!!! Saw the Test Kitchen and "the Nest" which is their training center. Got to see Chick-fil-A's History Museum which included old school cars and the Original BAT MOBILE!!! LASTLY: We were guided through Truett's office, saw a Closing Movie and Visited their Gift Shop! It was an unforgettable time that I was honored and grateful to have experienced such a storytelling experience inspired by the life and vision of Chick-fil-A's founder, S. Truett Cathy. It was a great BLESSING to have been invited at no cost to me and my guests! Please Note: Affordable tickets can be purchased for this experience on their website: www.tours.chick-fil-a.com I DEFINITELY recommend to anyone who is an avid Chick-fil-A Lover and encourage learning about this amazing company's unique story... it's truly... one. of. a. kind. I've ridden the bus a few times, and the experience is okay. Something to do in Atlnata…read more I will say, the first impression the bus was an hour and a half late and the food was cold, and then we only had 30 minutes to rush through the ride. The second time was better, we went for a Masquerade . The food and seasonal treats were tasty as well! 3rd experience it was pouring rain, and rain actually came through the top above our seat so we were a little wet during the ride. The 4th and final time I went with my daughter and that was the best experience we had. The bus was on time, the menu had changed a bit and was delicious. Also our MC was with both hilarious and entertaining. She brought all the vibes on the bus, and engaged us all. Even let my daughter sing. It was a great time. Our experience has progressively gotten better, and I would recommend it to others. I'd say don't let one bad experience deter you. It was one horribly managed tour with such subpar service and food provided…read more First off they arrived 1.5 hours late and kept pushing the time by 30 mins each time. Highly unprofessional to send one way text at 3 PM saying we will be late by 30 mins. Then again at 3:30 the same text. And when they showed up at 4 the prep was pathetic, with no silverware and napkins on the table, cupcakes looked like Publix ones. Even though I requested all vegetarian while booking there were meat sandwiches in the plates on our reserved table. Teas were listed to be 5 varieties and they brought only 2 out that too after half the food was eaten. So bad that it lasted like boiled water. They didn't even do the full 1.5 hrs on the bus and dropped us back a little before 5. Complete disappointment all thru. Pls stay out of this scam! Go to The Ginger Room instead for a proper afternoon tea experience.

I am starting on my 4th year here in Atlanta. I find myself to be a social, community driven,…read morevolunteering type of person. Transitioning to Atlanta was somewhat difficult for me. It was hard to make friends (keep in mind, I am social type of person) and do the things I love. I met Steve on Facebook. He was so kind and you could tell from his posts, that he just wanted to help people. I finally reached out to him and attended an event. It was an event that was the beginning to my "normal." It was the first event I attended and honestly was a bit nervous bc I have been to "meet-up" groups and well they weren't all pleasant experiences. Everyone was so nice, inviting, down to earth just good people. Everyone has their own personality, no one judges, we come together do fun events, events that help our community, we learn at these events...it's just an awesome experience. I could write a whole page!! The point is...I got involved with this group looking to make friends. Not only did I make friends, but these friends turned into my second family here in Atlanta. I can't explain the type of gratitude I feel towards everyone in this group. If you are looking for fun, adventurous, community helping type of people, your search has finally ended!

I would highly recommend Urban Explorers to anyone who loves meeting new people, seeing hidden gems of Atlanta, and loves fine food and drinks. UXATL never disappoints!
