This place is the worst place to live!!!!! DO NOT! I was fooled by the hundreds of bots they pay to…read moreleave good reviews when this place is actually the worst place in America to live. I have lived in college housing with BAT INFESTATIONS, DEAD BIRDS, SPIDER NESTS and THIS PLACE takes the cake of being the WORST! Not only are the front office and maintenance the rudest people I've met in my life (besides one lovely young maintenance man) but management has no idea what they're doing. They have no remorse for the conditions you're living in and have the attitude of "out of sight out of mind". They send pest control bi-weekly if you request it enough times but somehow despite the "treatments", you will STILL see live roaches all across your apartment (we moved in JANUARY BTW). We had to go there everyday to tell them their apartments were INFESTED with not only just bugs, but ROACHES. Save your money, time, and mental wellbeing and sign somewhere else. You will be living with LIVE roaches and no one will care and act like you're the one insane. "It's just palmetto bugs".... also known as the American Roach. The entire complex is infested. The worst people I've ever had to deal with in my entire life and the worst living conditions. We put in a request to break our lease since we would see a live roach EVERYDAY and they started ignoring our calls and emails, but 2 DAYS before the requested date to break our lease they FINALLY answered after I wrote them with proof of live bugs in the apartment and told us our request had been granted and we needed to be out in 2 days. When we said we hadn't heard from them and can't get out of there by then they told us we only had 2 weeks to find somewhere new to live and get all of our stuff out in order to break our lease. They act like this is an issue you'll deal with everywhere in the South, in reality you won't have to deal with roaches anywhere if the staff treats it. I could write a novel about how this is the worst place to live. Just save yourself from it.

Don't live here if you love animals . They are kicking out the wrong people…read more Many of you remember "Stitch", the infamous muzzled husky that was intentionally dumped with a muzzle on his mouth left to die. His body temperature reached 107 degrees where he had to be darted , causing a puncture to his lung and numerous injuries, including an overnight stay at the hospital . Robert and his family took him home to start rehabilitation. It took a couple of days for Stitch to trust them, but eventually, he opened his wounded heart to them . Slowly, but steady, he learned to love and trust again. Now, he sleeps with them and found a new friend in their other husky dog, Luna. As they suspected, rehabilitation and recovery would take a few months . Taking him around people would be a while , and they have mastered that schedule and skill . They have been responsible pet owners with this proven effective process. Unfortunately, there was one person in the apartment area they live in , that wasn't ok with that. This man, finally caught on video, seen dragging his dog into the park to prove a point that this was his right to enter the apartment dog park. Robert is seen pleading to the guy that he needs a minute to get him out of the pen , and he doesn't listen . Robert pleas with him to stop approaching and to not pet his dog, and this man puts his hand over the fence . Stitch lunges at him , but does not bite. This apartment complex "Hawthorne at the park " in Greenville, SC is taking the easy way out and instead of setting up for what is right for the sake of Stitch and how much he is overcome, and how far he has come and rehabilitation with trust from the life that he was dealt before this happened, they are giving this family with a young daughter FORTY -EIGHT hours to leave the apartment complex. Normally, I would not use this platform for such a situation, but Stitch is Anakin's dog. Stitch is Five Forks dog. Stitch is everyone's dog. This community raised $3,000 to keep this dog alive, and we will not go down without a fight. This family has earned Stitch's , trust and they are taking the adequate precautions to keep Stitch away from socially awkward situations to keep this kind of thing from happening , and this apartment complex is allowing one man to be the reason for a family to lose their home and/or dog . We have a video with proof that shows Robert pleading with the individual not to enter the park yet he does not comply. We are making this post as a public plea to ask the apartment complex to be the voice for Stitch and other anxiety stricken dogs everywhere (including Anakin!) to be his voice and stand for what is right ! After what stitch has overcome and what this family has done for this dog, he cannot be rehomed and learn a whole new process of being loved again. This is not Stitch's fault. The life he was dealt is not his fault ! Please share and join us to save Stitch's life, AGAIN. Hawthorne At The Park #anakinstrails

I have lived at The Lofts at Woodside Mill for several years, and unfortunately the way I have been…read moretreated as a tenant has significantly deteriorated over time. My most recent experience involved a major flood in my apartment that originated from an upstairs unit and was not caused by me in any way. This is also the second time I have experienced a significant flooding incident while living here. What followed was one of the most frustrating and poorly managed experiences I have had as a resident. After the flood damaged a large area rug, I worked with management to coordinate its removal and cleaning. I adjusted my work schedule and worked from home specifically to accommodate the scheduled pickup after confirming multiple times that a remediation team would be arriving. Because the rug is extremely large and heavy, I had already communicated that it was not a one-person job. Instead, due to what appeared to be a complete breakdown in communication, a single employee arrived alone to remove the rug. Not surprisingly, the removal could not be completed. The entire situation was handled in a way that can only be described as ridiculous. What was even more disappointing was the response from management afterward. Rather than contacting me to understand what had occurred, I received an email accusing me of yelling, using profanity, and verbally abusing staff. Those allegations are completely false. At no point did anyone seek my side of the story before accepting and repeating those claims. I was also informed that I was expected to move furniture in preparation for the rug removal. Considering the flood originated from another unit and was not my fault, I do not believe it is reasonable to expect a tenant to perform physical labor related to remediating damage they did not cause. To add to my concerns, I was informed by the remediation company that water testing was not performed. As a resident whose home and personal property were affected by the flood, I found that concerning and believe greater transparency regarding the remediation process is warranted. The most frustrating aspect of this entire situation has been the lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism. What should have been a straightforward remediation process became unnecessarily stressful because of poor coordination and a willingness to place blame on the tenant rather than address the underlying issues. The property itself is beautiful, which is one of the reasons I chose to live here for several years. However, when a major issue arises, the true measure of a community is how it treats its residents. Based on my recent experiences, I no longer feel that tenants are treated with the level of respect, fairness, and professionalism they deserve. As a loyal resident who has lived here for several years and consistently pays rent in full and on time every month, I am deeply disappointed by how this situation has been handled. The level of professionalism, communication, and regard for residents is not what it once was. I do not know what has changed within the management team at The Lofts at Woodside Mill, but from a tenant's perspective, the change has been unmistakably for the worse.

We never had to pay this in either of our previous apartments with them which we found spiteful that they wanted it once we finally left. Don't know if they're just money hungry or if they were upset due to noise complaints on the third story with a 100 pound dog who didn't obnoxiously bark, was just heavy footed. Tuscan just seems to favor certain tenants and it was not appreciated. So if you decide to live here make sure to start off on the right foot with management for sure!
