Rob had great ideas for the design incorporating everything seamlessly from the retaining wall to the curbs to the shed pad to the walkway to the front door. He even buried pvc pipe under the cement and asphalt so I could hide our unsightly garden hose! Their pricing was very good and we were invoiced exactly what we were quoted! Rob was very responsive to all my questions and concerns and he and his crew showed up when they said they would, they were on time, they worked very hard, and finished when they said they would. All the while they had a great positive attitude, were very friendly and professional, and answered all my requests with 'no problem'. Of the two basement window wells, one was draining properly, in one, the water sat half the way the window and seeping through slowly. At first, I didn't know if that was the only spot or the wall was cracked, I was thinking all kinds of things. I called many waterproofers in the area, Rob and another company were the only ones to answer and schedule an appointment. He came, looked at the basement, looked outside and deteremined an action plan. Came on the appointment date and did what needed to be done. Said that might not be whole solution, but we can only try since it seems the most feasable one. I don't mind. We'll see how it goes. He also suggested what would need to be done should water come again. He did test the repair he did and water is now draining properly in both wells. Overall an honest, well done job.

After looking around and checking the quote radu did a sales pitch on how he can do the job better then explained to me what is needed to be done and how is he going to do it he also assured me that the work will be done in a timely manner and if there is additional charge that needs to be added he will take care of it and contact the Insurance himself and he want to start the repairs asap. I told him that as long as it will fit within the approved budget from the insurance then it is OK with me and that he should make sure of that before he start the repairs and also told him that i am not paying for anything else aside from the deductible or I would just hire the other contractor and he gave his assurance that it will fit the budget and he'll deal with the insurance if there is extra cost before he start the repairs . I was very particular about the floor being cold and ask him about it, he said he will put in a blue dmx underlayment before putting a loose lay vinyl plank with double sided tape on it to help with the cold floor, I also sent him a copy of the quote and the contact info of the adjuster thru email for his reference when submitting his quote that same day. He came back on Dec. 01/21 so we can choose the design and color that we want for the floor, after me and my wife chose a color I confirmed with him if that particular vinyl plank will work with the underlayment he mentioned before and again he gave his assurance. Dec. 09/21 after his guys removed the old floor on one of the bedrooms and partially on the rec room, I went to check and saw them applying adhesives directly on the floor so I stopped them and told them that they were supposed to put underlayment before putting the vinyl, then I called Radu and he DENIED that he said he was going to put an underlayment on so I ask him to come to my house to talk, when Radu came I presented him a RECORDING of our conversation, he actually listened to himself confirming that he will put an underlayment on, he still tried to get away with it but I reminded him that it was his idea and because my basement is already a mess and a young boy uses that bedroom we reached an agreement that he will do what he initially promised and I will take out the rest of the floor out for him. Dec 13/21 I got an email from Radu stating that the initial quote was missing some extra charges and that he WILL NOT CONTINUE THE REPAIRS despite having parts of the old floors removed, cold pavement exposed and the whole house stinking due to a strong chemical smell from the adhesive they used UNLESS HIS EXTRA CHARGES was approved by the insurance. Radu had the copy of that QUOTE FOR ALMOST 2 WEEKS to use as reference and check for every details, he even gave me the assurance that he will deal with the insurance prior to starting the job if there will be extra charges, I repeatedly told him and made him understand that he can ONLY WORK within the approved budget as I currently do not work and have no funds for extras.and now after he my LEFT BASEMENT A MESS AND UNLIVEABLE HE WANTS MORE MONEY! and he is using the ruined state of my basement floor as a HOSTAGE to get more money. I cannot even put the old floors back in as they threw it out and there is shesive on the floor that is still not dry to date. I refuse to be a victim of a his devious scam so I called his bluff.
