This place and the office staff is so frustrating to work with. Before your appointment they have…read moreyou fill out a comprehensive allergy form, after filling mine out I continued to get texts reminding me to fill it out. My appt was scheduled for 2pm, and I got a reminder text the day before for a 2:30 appt. Assuming I wrote it on the calendar wrong I called to confirm, the woman on the phone told me my forms were complete and confirmed my 2:30 time. Arriving at 2:30 I was told my time was at 2pm, and that the consultation time and allergy test time was scheduled differently. When I asked why the woman on the phone confirmed the later time without informing of the correct earlier time I was just told "oh, that's just a call center, we were going to call you and see why you were late but we got busy checking people in" I couldn't be rescheduled later that day for the actual skin test, which was frustrating after being off of allergy medication to prepare for it and having constant reactions, so I asked to be rescheduled the following day at a location closer to my home, however I tried to clarify if it would work as my insurance requires PCP referrals, the receptionist told me that I didn't need a referral even after being shown the insurance card saying "referrals required". I was rescheduled For the following day, and then called by THAT location saying I needed a referral. I was then rescheduled for the next day at the original Allen location. Upon arrival at my appointment, on time this time, I was asked why I was rescheduled again and was told "you shouldn't have been because you don't need referrals" and then asked to fill out the paperwork that I had already been told I had completed. I was then sent to Quest diagnostics to complete labs, and I had been given the incorrect paperwork and was unable to even do the blood test to tell me what I was allergic to. Complete waste of time trying to work with this office.

Update 8/22: On 8/20 I called the Allen location because at…read morethis point it's been 3 weeks and the McKinney location has not returned my calls. The girl who answered was nice and she had Andres call me later. I spoke to Andres about this horrible experience. I inquired why in 3 weeks and 4 voicemails not one person reached out to schedule my son to be seen. He gave me the reason that they are busy and backed up with calls. An unacceptable excuse. To tell me that for 3 weeks not one person was able to call me back. If they are backed up on calling patients back for 3+ weeks, then they have a more serious issue. It is never acceptable to not return a patients call or to get them in to be seen. My son's epi pen was expiring and they didn't care. They wouldn't even issue me a new pen without my son being seen even thought this was all completely their fault. This is the worse facility with the worst staff. I will never recommend anyone to this place. Update: I've left a few more messages to this center and still NO call back. I even called the number Andres provided on my original review and no answer. It doesn't ring. This facility should be under investigation on how they are treating existing clients. My son is a current patient here. I have been trying to schedule an appointment for him to be seen to get his school form signed and new epi pen prescription and no one has been answering or returning my voicemails to get me in. I left 2 voicemails and have been calling different hours of the day and no one in the office answers. This has been a horrible experience to where I'm now looking to transfer him to another allergist.

Having errors in a child's paperwork --ESPECIALLY when it comes to life threatening allergies--is inexcusable. Secondly, having nursing staff who have a history of "reverse discrimination" and a completely blatant disregard for respect and patient care is unacceptable.

Although I have a bit of a fear of needles, our weekly visit for our shots has actually turned into a time we look forward to, thanks to the incredible nursing staff. Our shot nurse, Jill, provides us with our shots weekly and is truly incredible. She takes our health and her job seriously, by confirming any previous reactions, ensuring we have had our antihistamine and have our emergency epipens. As a busy adult, I appreciate this reminder seeing as at the end of the day reactions CAN happen and by her friendly check-in's it allows us to be prepared for a reaction IN office but more importantly an unexpected reaction once off the premise. I always feel like the best review or compliment is a referral and we have actually just changed our children from their pediatric allergist to MAAC also. Their patience and understanding with our littles gives me even more reason to rave about this staff. We literally trust them with our lives. If you're on the fence, I truly couldn't suggest a better place.

They hung up on me twice when I mentioned I will be giving feedback to the doctor about Victoria. I've been to this location and the doctor is extremely nice and professional, it sad that he has such unprofessional rude staff, who are racist and say things like "clearly you have a hard time understanding". They don't give clear instructions if the first appointment for my son will be a consultation or an allergy test. The worst service I've ever had in my entire life. Response: That is not what happened and I am A patient there you gave me a consultation on the schedule of different allergy shots I could take and how the first option would be a set of clusters.
