My previous PCP would shove me out in 10-15 minutes due to pressure from the insurance companies to see the most patients in the least amount of time, so I am more than happy with Family Medicine of Pooler's direct care business model as it allows me to actually share my concerns with my doctor and be involved and informed in my own care. Dr. Ghaleb always informs me of all my options and allows me to make my own decisions with her guidance. They will even ask if there are any particular labs you would like her to consider when you are getting your annuals. I am a very anxious patient and she is always so considerate and patient with me. I can't speak highly enough of her and her team. The nurses are also extremely kind. I hope Family Medicine of Pooler is my family practice for many years to come.

Their system may work, just don't be sick when you call, as they are 6 weeks out to see you. They claim it's because of being a new patient, which we all know is really just a few extra pieces of paper that need to be filled out. The real ironic part is that their speech they give about their services is geared towards how to ensure that your credit card stays up to date for all billing. That was mentioned 4 times while talking about my wife's stroke. They may be good, just not for an emergent issue. I would not call them if you have immediate unforeseen needs.
