To be fair, the tow truck driver himself was amazing calm, kind, respectful, and patient. He handled my vehicle with care and showed real professionalism. Honestly, he deserves a better company to work for, because the issues I experienced were not because of him. The problems began once my vehicle arrived at GT Tow Service. I was told by the lady at the front desk (I'm keeping her name private) that they were charging $100 per day. When I calmly said that rate was not lawful or posted anywhere, she scratched it out on the paper and changed it to $30 per day. This raised immediate concerns about the legitimacy and consistency of their pricing. There were no posted storage rates, even though Missouri law requires them. Instead, the fees were handwritten, inconsistent, and changed depending on who you talked to. They attempted to charge extremely high amounts with no explanation and refused to provide a printed rate sheet. When I calmly tried to give them a written dispute and a legal notice of payment under protest, an employee (a very angry lady who is said to be the owner) took the document and threw it in the trash. That tells you everything you need to know about how they treat people. They also made it difficult to access my own vehicle or retrieve belongings something Missouri law explicitly protects. I had to involve police just to get the situation documented. People deserve transparency, respect, and lawful practices especially after a crash or emergency. No consumer especially victims of accidents or vulnerable families should have to navigate this type of treatment when they're already dealing with stress, injury, or financial hardship. I will be submitting all evidence to the Missouri Attorney General, the Department of Revenue, and other oversight agencies so others are protected. To the tow driver -- thank you. You were the only professional part of this experience. I genuinely hope you find a better company to work for.

She also told me that she was a manager but then had to ask higher ups questions and when I asked who she was talking about she said the owners daughter and then the daughter talked to the owner. Why would I have not just talked to the owner in the first place when I asked for the higher up? Overall, it was a sucky situation all around but it didn't need to be because of cruddy customer service.
