The secret with great botox comes from the person holding that needle. Trust me, when you find your "Botox Master", you will be AMAZED at the results and you won't ever want anyone else doing your botox again. My search here in Virginia has led me to experience some bad results. Thus, I decided to find a place where the DOCTOR actually does the administering. This was harder than I thought! I finally found Dr. Guarda and made an appointment. The office was very beautiful and the entire staff were all wonderful, polite and very professional. Dr. Guarda spent a lot of time with me discussing my past botox experiences from what went wrong to what I loved. She is one of few, that believes in the conservative approach. She would rather inject less botox, wait for the results and then have you return if you need more rather than do too much, and have the client left with bad results for months. I loved this about her and agreed! I've have experienced droopy eyelid several times here in Virginia from estheticians doing too much botox, so I really prefer to do less botox up front and then tweak it later with more if needed. Dr. Guarda was never pushy and didn't try to sell me a bunch of products and or services irrelevant to the reason I was there. She just addressed my botox concerns and worked her magic. She did draw up the botox directly in front of me - which I highly recommend to anyone getting botox! You have a right to know you are getting the Botox you are paying for and not the cheaper form. There were no ice packs before/during/after treatment. However, her injections were gentle and I didn't experience any swelling, discomfort or bruising.

At my second appointment they brought out my previous X-rays and mentioned another tooth had the same dark spot... but only mentioned the one at the original appointment. Then they had a new dentist look at me and I got a denied claim from my insurance because the new dentist was not filed under them in their paperwork. I called to ask to fix this and my claim got denied a second time for them being listed under the wrong address. I finally received an accepted claim but I went in for just a cleaning and I have to pay out of pocket for something they put in the claim even though delta dental covers cleanings. This place feels like they are trying to scam patients and find issues that do not actually exist and cause insurance issues to force you to pay out of pocket. Will not be going back.

The office staff and nursing/surgical staff were professional and compassionate while caring for me. The doctor provided 24 hour communications with me and my husband during my recovery. Time for yet another update…read more Brief background - I've been coming here on and off since 2014 for laser hair removal, mole removals, laser skin treatments, and facials. Dr. Lopes removed some moles for me a few years ago and my results were amazing. No scars and I had one on my chin that you would literally never know was there! It was expensive - something like $100 a mole and I had 9 removed - insurance will not pay for anything here bc it's all cosmetic. I've heard all good things about her and her skills in plastic surgery. I don't know that I'll ever go there, but, good to know she's here if I do want to. I had laser hair removal here years ago with Maggie and, bc of my sensitive skin and some scars on my legs, I had to do lower power on the laser and more treatments. I paid over $4000 for the treatments and Maggie modified it for me as needed to suit my skin. I appreciated this and never forgot it. I was initially given a quote good for 6 months when discussing the laser hair removal so I could leave and think on the investment. Now, when I went back to see Rachel last year - no quotes, just her assessment in the exam room quickly, and it felt like she was just making it up off the top of her head. I didn't think that was as professional as the process in the past. I want to be given an exam and a quote sheet I can take with me so we're all on the same page. I spent about $1000-1200 on some touch-ups and some vascular issues and had an issue with a "follow-up" that I was charged for when I was under the impression it was included in my price since I was being brought in to review the results. No quotes given either - you have to remember and hope she remembered what she said it would be. What? After Maggie retired they did bring in another esthetician for a while also but she's no longer there and my future appointments were cancelled. I believe they have not replaced her and no longer offer facials bc no one has ever called to reschedule and this was over 6 months ago. She was also shady about prices and there were no prices listed the first few times I went and she kept "offering" other things to do or recommended I "needed" but you had no idea what it would cost and some of those things were $90-150 each! If I had said yes to everything - I'd have easily spent $450. Shady. Rain, the office manager, is kind and worked with me to resolve the issue I had with the follow-up mentioned above. The front desk staff are sweet. I just don't appreciate when we're talking about this kind of money, feeling like the prices aren't set - they're made up on the spot. Something about that rubs me entirely the wrong way and makes me pause on coming here for anymore laser follow-up and treatments.

I have gone to his nurses for injectables as well as had Dr. Hubbard operate on me twice. The facility is so gorgeous and state of the art, and ALL of the staff is so kind and caring. Once you step into those doors you immediately feel the warmth coming from everyone who is there. They are genuinely happy to meet you, or to have you back again. From consultation to recovery, the experience they create for you is so wonderful. One of the many things I really appreciate about Dr. Hubbard & staff is that they never make you feel rushed...a lot of places create a kind of 'assembly line' atmosphere but each time I had a consultation/pre-op with Dr. Hubbard, he would take his time answering my questions, educating me on the latest research, or showing me examples of results. My favorite thing about Dr. Hubbard is how all of his decisions are made with safety being the first thing in his mind. He stays abreast of all of the latest research and techniques, so he doesn't suggest things post-op that haven't been proven by extensive research. I follow his office on Instagram and get to see the conferences and training he attends all over the country, which really puts my mind at ease that he is always learning and evolving his approach to make it the best experience for us. Each operation I've had has gone so smoothly and left me with such a positive and safe feeling. I felt confident and informed going into the operating room each time, and woke up from anesthesia feeling GREAT (shout out to the anesthesiologists!!) and with very clear and detailed recovery instructions!
