They were easy to work with, easy to get a hold of, and he walked me through what he was doing, why it was being done and the costs so there were no surprises. Overall they were outstanding, and I would recommend them highly.

Great service and very knowledgeable! We had 2 toilets that…read moresuddenly became almost impossible to flush--the handle was extremely difficult to push, and we weren't sure what was causing the problem. He made time and came out, diagnosed the issue, and got it fixed for us. He was professional, knowledgeable, and explained what was going on rather than just doing the repair. We really appreciated the quick response and quality work. We would definitely recommend Jim and will call him again for future plumbing needs! He is also very reasonably priced!

Would not recommend - Nick Gneiss Plumbing took advantage of my parents. Years ago, my parents…read morehired him by referral through a contractor they'd worked with for years. First experience was fantastic - friendly, reasonably priced, did exactly what we discussed with no surprises. Their most recent experience was not good. They contacted him directly and trusted his work and character based on their past experience. He horrendously overcharged them almost $1500 - for a new sink replacement. He picked up a sink from Menards which he charged over $300 for. The rest I'm assuming was his labor cost. I understand there's typically a high hourly rate for skilled labor. I also understand if you want to charge a surcharge for the unit or delivery. What I don't understand is how you justified charging them almost three times the cost of the original unit. Menards is literally 10 minutes away and it's not even a "high-end" model. My parents may have a language barrier but I certainly can price check and it's disgusting that you would take advantage of their ignorance. Especially as return customers.

This business was one of three quotes we got for a tub-to-shower conversion…read more He was nice and friendly. A little hedgy with arrival time, but we understand projects sometimes run over. We ultimately didn't go with him, as the quote he gave us was equal with the amount of our final choice. However, the difference was if we went with Nick's company we would've still had to pay another company to drywall (before we could even start using the shower) and get the room ready to paint. The same amount got us a finished project elsewhere. He was nice and seemed knowledgeable. His quote was just out of our budget.

Completely ignoring that this is an emergency. My toes are turning purple just stepping on the floor for a few seconds without socks. They care about money not people. They suggested a method, yet realized it was probably going to take too much time (and obviously cost more money) so they resorted to a different one and managed to fix my problem sooner. Even offered them a tip and they didn't accept, said they have also been through hardships and were glad to help. Definitely recommend. My go to plumbers from this day onward.
