Ive been eating chef Gregs cooking for some time and am so glad to see that is now available for "take-out". Everything is fresh, well prepared and has more flavor than your typical "meal prep" options. My favorite is fried plantains to any of his dishes. Its a light, sweet and savory addition to any meal. The gravy chicken is so good. So is the curry chicken, its not overly pungent but packs tons of flavor and spice. If you are looking for something new to try, or simply want a break from the kitchen, I highly recommend placing an order with Gregs Kitchen, you will not be disappointed. About to enjoy my gravy chicken, rice and my fresh plantains.

I got the browned chicken , slaw salad , rice and plantains ! Very yummy , I was too busy eating my second serving so that's why this review was delayed ! My favorite was the rice and it's different than any other rice I've tasted before, but delicious ! The chicken also was moist and juicy! This place is a pick up only so you have to order Monday -Friday for Saturday / Sunday pick up ! Definitely will be back to try the other options ! Don't hesitate to try Greg's Kitchen and taking a dip into the Carribean flavors

Steak, Rice & peas, sweet cabbage, plantain

Best kept secret is Perris!!! Amazing food, everything is good and will leave you wanting more!! A must try!! You won't be disappointed.

Island Shrimp but I finished it so fast.

The best Caribbean Food I've ever had. I tried the Island Shrimp and the jerk chicken. The shrimp was so fresh and seasoned deliciously. The Jerk chicken had the best Smokey taste. The sides were equally as delicious. I loved the rice, the plantain, and the festival bread. I finished all my food.

First off, the cafe is bright, colorful, and warm and was running a 90's - 2000's spotify mix that was right up my wife's alley. Very relaxed atmosphere and we felt welcome immediately. We absolutely wanted to note that everyone working that day were very helpful and nice. A special shout out to our waitress Trisha (sp?) who helped us with some honest recommendations and made sure we were taken care of. On to the food! 1. Jerk Potatoes - These were fantastic. Strong, well seasoned, and very filling. This was the first thing on the table, and was honestly enough food for both my wife and I. This is what we want to eat in the morning after a night out, while watching a chinese drama on Netflix, or after a nice hike. Great dish, great first impression. 2. Seamoss Shake - Tricia helped me convince myself that this was healthy because seamoss is a health food! Good enough for me! I actually love this, my wife did too. I mean, it's a milkshake so it's sweet, but not overwhelmingly so and had a really nice earthy tint to it. Would order again. For health reasons. 3. Fried Chicken Wings & Waffles - No complaints about the waffles, actually quite good overall. The chicken was also very well done, moist, tender, well fried. The highlight of this dish though, was the jerk spicy dipping sauce that came with the dish. For all those chinese people out there, it's like the sweet and sour sauce used in peking ribs, but with some additional spices that really took it to another level. 4. French Toast, Eggs & Bacon - My older son tends to order this whenever it's available. Not much to say, it was tasty and he left no crumbs. We also ordered curried goat and brown stew chicken, but we actually took those orders home since we were full from the first few dishes. Great spot, great people, would recommend! As a side note, I fully support the Seamoss Shake health food movement. Thanks y'all!

Chicken was soooo tender and had a smoky flavor to it. The cabbage was seasoned well and rice was cooked perfectly. Mac and cheese plate was super weak in my opinion - I was expecting the Mac and cheese you get at a back yard bbq. Lacked in cheese and flavor. Some edges had a nice cheese pull but for the most part it was just a lot of noodle. Would have loved to enjoy it with the short ribs per their advertisement - but they had ran out so we got some crispy wings. Portion is big - not sure on the how much it was though, as the menu wasn't priced. I would advise to pair your meal with one of their house-made specialty juices if you don't get a ginger beer! I had their pineapple-ginger, a Jamaican staple and goes so well with their cuisine. oh. GET THE PATTY. If all else fails, get the damn Jamaican patty. Beef and curry chicken are my favs. All of the patties are crispy, Flaky, and buttery. I was pleasantly surprised to know that these are the same patties served to you at none other than Simply Wholesome, in LA. A grand staple for the community. Savanna, helped us out for the evening and she was lovely and helpful! Would come back just for the customer service itself.

I don't have much to say about the service but it was average (average is nice though). I ate in the mall, it was quiet and empty because it was pretty late. The collared greens was tasty, the yam reminded me of Hawaiian poi that was starchy and earthy. The beef could've been cooked better, though. It was really hard and tough to chew: I was a little disappointed. If the beef had been served tender and juicy (soaked in the collared greens sauce) I would've given 5 stars only because I don't think it was worth what we were charged for our dishes. Two pieces of beef that wasn't serving standard in my honest opinion. The store front is located in the food court of the Moreno Valley mall. There's a lot of dining tables and chairs throughout the food court and other food shops surrounding the dining court. There's tons of parking spaces and the mall wasn't very busy so parking is easy. I love African food and compared to my favorite spot in San Diego, this one is not on my list to revisit, unfortunately. Not for the price or quality.
