No dosage and dry as a bone with slight breadiness akin to a fine champagne but ringing up at less than 8€ a bottle. I wish we could have brought home a case or two. I would suggest you make this your first stop in Prosecco country but it might ruin all the tastings that follow.

First things first, arrange a reservation for a tour and tasting in advance. You'll pay for it when you arrive. At the lost cost of 25 euros you'll receive a very thorough tour of the production facility and labeling room, a tasting of eight different wines, a variety of meats and cheeses to accompany the wines, AND you'll get to take a home a bottle of wine of your choice. You simply can't beat that. Everyone at Toffoli was so hospitable and despite the fact that were were running late for our 10 am scheduled tour they happily accomodated us when we arrived. We were extremely fortunate to have Sante, the oldest brother of the family and part-owner, be our private guide for the tour. He is seriously one of the nicest people. Sante is extremely knowledgeable on the prosecco area and the wine making process and is happy to share this knowledge with others. Not only did we learn all about each step of the production process but he also threw in fun anecdotes about growing up in the region and about his family that really enriched the experience for us. Before we knew it, THREE HOURS had gone by as we spent the whole morning with Sante drinking delicious wines and learning so much about the region and the family behind the wine. If you only have time to visit one winery in the Prosecco region this is the one you can't miss!

From the moment you arrive you know you are about to experience something extraordinary. Of course,…read morethe ride up the hills past endless rows of vines and amazing vistas is a prelude for what is about to come. We have been to Fasol Menin a few times accompanied by friends from America as we are expats living in Treviso. Whenever a visit by friends or family is about to happen, we plan incredible adventures to "show off" our new home. This usually involves lunch at Trattoria Alla Cima and a wine tour at Fasol Menin. Both establishments have incredibly simple Web Site reservation procedures with follow-up emails. On our last visit to Fasol Menin, Sylvia ( I hope I am recalling her name) was our guide, and it was a spectacular experience. So, we knew that our next visit would be as expected and Fasol Manin more than lived up to our expectations. Easy parking in front of a beautiful facility with a great wine bottle sculpture on the front lawn. We were greeted in the parking area and it was explained that we would be joining a small group that also spoke English and it was being led by the owner Alessandro. Although my wife speaks Italian and I am patiently learning, our guests speak English and we had chosen English speaking when we reserved the visit on the Web Site. Alessandro guided us through the wine making process and their philosophy. No preservative or pesticides and hand harvesting with scissors and buckets. Limited production to ensure quality with and particular attention to the angle of the sunshine. On that note, Alessandro WAS a ray of sunshine. He explained the history, the process, the family, the connection to local artists and more with incredible enthusiasm. We climbed a spiral staircase to enter the most incredible tasting room with a grand piano. That would have been perfect, but Alessandro walked us to the next room with an incredible panoramic view of the vineyard and a soon to be opened hotel and restaurant building. The tables were set with special placemats and wine glasses that fit on circles on the placemats that foretell which wine we would be tasting. We had chosen 5 Proseccos, and one was better than the next with different sugar levels and dryness. The pour was substantial, and the Sommelier was incredibly knowledgeable. Each wine was served with salami or cheese or the most incredible pumpkin mini-tart. Fabulous background music, perfect lighting, an incredible sommelier and some amazing wine. What else could you ask for. Alessandro gave our guests a parting gift and we were given a room spray that we have already sprayed in our living room in Treviso and it brought us right back to the winery. If you ever do a wine tasting be sure to make Fasol Menin your first choice!! Alessandro lives in Treviso and has invited me to have a coffee in town. I can't wait to thank him personally.

We opted for the 8 wine tasting experience, which featured a variety of whites, reds, and sheets. Everything we tried was fantastic and some of the best wines I've had! We enjoyed our tour guide and hearing all his explanations, stories, and recommendations of local places to try. Definitely recommend.

Another reason is that they make both red and white wines, whereas some other wineries in the region focuses on mainly white or focuses on Prosecco. The winery isn't large compared to the wineries I'm used to in California, but it was beautiful to see the vines nonetheless. The inside of the winery and tasting room was reminiscent of a warehouse or hangar, so that was quite different and unexpected. It didn't exude winery feels but the outside is nice. It turned out that you need a reservation to wine taste here, though that was not mentioned on their website. When I expressed that we're visiting, the lady that helped us made an exception to let us taste about 4 wines, which was quite was nice of her. The wines were nice, so we left with a few bottles as the prices are quite low compared to wineries back in California. This was a nice start to wine tasting in this region.
