They did not have an attendant at the car return site so I dropped the keys in a special "key drop box" at the kiosk. They claimed unspecific damage and charged me 400 + Euros and sent me a bill. They have never provided me with any details about the damage they claim. After much back and forth they finally state it was damage to the key lock but not which lock specifically. I have spoken to friends who have also used Europcar and had the same bad experience. At the car return I locked the car by pressing the key on the pad and it was in perfect order. I also had full insurance on the rental. Europcar are ripping people off!! NO STAR

Clearly this cad had not been maintained: it was an older model and uncomfortable. I asked to get another 9-seater and they said they didn't have any so either was this one or I'd loose my reservation. I returned the car 4 days earlier and I was charged for the full amount of the 20 days!!! I wrote 3 complaint emails and I didn't get ANY reply nor acknowledgement! I tried to call them several times and was out on hold for more than 30 minutes after which i gave up. Customer service is non existent!! I rest cars all the time for work and for leisure and this was by far the worst experience ever (first time using this company). Do not waste your money with them.
