Love their tuna crunch baguettes. Adding a coffee a great meal deal option. Hot items also a good choice.

The queue can be very long at times but does seem to move quickly so you don't generally end up waiting to long. I love their ciabatta buns which you can buy in bags of 2 or 4, they are so lovely and soft on the inside and slightly crusty on the outside. Thomas' sell the traditional bakery range sandwiches (try the delicious roast beef and onion ciabatta) hot pastry items and lots of lovely cakes and buns.

They also sell drinks..I have only had the muffins so can't comment on the other items they sellbut i'll give the muffins 10/10 !.........update..just found out today 16/01/09 this is another company that's been put out of business and has closed down :(

There is your usual selection of stuff and it's popular with local people (elderly in particular) as a pit stop. And that's just about all you can say about this place. (By the way, I am not sure how the view of a shopping centre can be considered 'nice' - plenty of other truly nice views around in Scarborough.)

This is the largest of the stores and they also have a cafe upstairs. The cafe is a lovely place to eat, try to avoid anything you could get as take away downstairs as they double the price. Their toasties and panins are delicous. it isn't a massive cafe so can get very busy at lunch time and you may have to queue for a while. i would highly recommend their sponge and custord, yum! There is quite a nice view of the main shopping street from the front of the cafe. The shop does delicous hot sandwiches and soup along with the traditional bakery fare.

Their Christmas display this year was amazing, I especially loved the penguin cake, they looked so realistic. As well as being the place to go for gorgeous looking cakes they also sell a full range of cake making and decorating products from cake boards and icing to edible glitter. The shop assistants are all very knowledgeable and can advise you if you are planning to create your own masterpiece. The cakes are, as you would imagine, very expensive but no more so than any equivalent shop but the rest of the stock is very reasonably priced. Definitely the place to go for anyone that can afford to have a cake made for them, I wish I could!
