There is no acceptable reason for this disregard, especially when I ordered from cakes they advertise as immediately available. The experience was deeply disappointing and reflects poor, unreliable service. In contrast, I found a lovely bakery in Maidenhead that typically requires 3 to 4 days' notice. Despite my last-minute request, they still responded after hours with kindness and professionalism. Thank you for reminding me that my money is better spent where it is valued and appreciated.

They also make bespoke cakes for weddings and parties - although if I were to get married and got the cake from here, I would be thinking less "I do", and more "When do I get to eat the cake?"

The strawberry tart seemed to use custard as opposed to my preferred creme patissiere but was excellent nonetheless. We will be back to give Tom's cake a better try.
