Greggs was the reason I woke up for breakfast at Lancaster University. Just writing this review makes my mouth water.
I have woken many times in the middle of the night in a heavy sweat, dreaming about the next time I will get to encounter Greggs and their heavenly pastries.
Definitely try their steak and/or chicken bakes! The flakey pastry on the outside is so decadent and buttery. By the time you are done, you will be covered in a mess of pastry flakes and maybe some gravy, if you are lucky because then you can lick your lips later for a sweet reminder of how tasty they are. And for 89 pence, that is quite the bargain.
I would count out my change, put on my boots and a coat over my jammies, run to Gregg's and wait in the long, chilly line but it was all worth it. Then I would go back to bed and skip class because it was way too cold.
