For bread there's wholemeal, granary, white, 'Moffat Tasty' to name but a few! There's a large range of handmade biscuits and muffins as well, including shortbread and parkins. They were very busy and their display case was filled with lots of delicious looking premium pastries, cookies, little pies, breads and so much more. The staff was super friendly and made our visit even more enjoyable. We purchased a few bars, cookies, hand pies and some scones. The prices were very reasonable. Every item was super fresh and extremely tasty. The cream filling in the pies was super creamy and rich. The filled cookies were amazing and I wished that I had more. The bars were irresistible and loaded with fresh fruits.

Located centrally within the town, Marchbanks is a highly reputable source of items such as white and brown bread, pastries and cakes that are all created close to the premises. The shop doubles as a tearoom, where you can have your cake and eat it with a cup of tea or coffee if you require. The staff are always friendly and approachable to your needs. Be warned though, their produce sells very quickly so it is well worth placing an order well in advance.
