Anyway, the place is great if your after a pie. They don't match up to greggs/sayers however once you look at the other products they have. The sausage rolls are small and they never have any good offers on like 3 for £1 etc. I go in the place for a pie quite often and usually get a drink as well. The shop has a butchers kind of feel to it even though it is a bakery. All the products are cooked fresh but they are maybe a little over priced. Nice, helpful staff which usually consist of older women, all wearing their health and safety gloves when handling the food etc, which is good to see. If you like pies, I would recommend, otherwise go elsewhere.

This shop is based in the middle of sthelens, but closer to the night light of sthelens and hidden away from most big retail stores which is abit of a let down but still easy to get to and close to a subway. They offer great meal deals most days. The shop is always clean and the staff are always lovely and plesent. The food can be pricey depending on what you buy but its extreamly tasty and good value for money. The shop can be quite busy at times but thts cause the food is delisious and only sthelens has a pimblets pie shop. Staff always wear ther health ans hygiene things (gloves hair nets etc) which is nice to see when handling your food

It was a Sunday morning, and I could only get there long after opening due to my transport arrangements so I was worried ... but thankfully I was easily able to get a table to sit down and eat .. I'm lucky most of the people of Manchester don't wake up early on a Sunday. So it was a little quiet but inside was almost full when I got there ... which was nice. It was a decent day and I was kinda close to the window so could see the marina and all the people exercising and walking their dogs and it's with sitting and just chill. So with sitting and eating, I wanted to get something good. it always looked amazing when I was waiting for my drink to take out, but I'm always one to have eggs Benedict whenever I can, so I figured I might as well try theirs ... and it did not disappoint. It came with ham hock, 2 eggs, brown butter, hollandaise, and crispy kale on their own sourdough. Im not usually one to have kale ... but they made it amazing. I finished every last bit and wanted more ... it was hands down, one of the best eggs Benedict I have ever had. To accompany the eggs benny, I also went for a coffee, as you do, and an orange juice, which was so nice. Hands down will always recommend people to go to pollen, if not for their sourdough and coffee and pastries to go, but also to sit and eat. Love this place

After a few drinks the night before and on my way to a day at a craft workshop, I needed something refreshing on the walk over to Castlefield to help me feel energised (and get rid of dry mouth!) Currently going through a small love affair with strawberry milk, my sights were already set on their strawberry frappe milkshake. Many of their cold drinks are displayed in the cooler along with the sandwiches, so you can make your decision before heading up to the bar, which I can imagine comes in very handy during peak times. The barista serving was super friendly, asking me about my day whilst my drink was whirring away, and wishing me a lovely weekend. The drink itself was just what I needed for the walk, not too sweet but perfectly cold, and a lighter consistency than the Frappuccino at Starbucks. What really struck me about this visit was the interior of the space - for a chain coffee shop, it was bloody lovely! Lots of dark wood, comfortably looking seating, and classical music playing. A calm, relaxed environment I can totally imagine spending an afternoon working or catching up with friends in if I couldn't find an independent nearby.

I got their chicken tenders dish that came with fries, gravy, and slaw. It also came with a barbecue (I think it was barbecue) sauce. I was genuinely surprised as most brunch places I've been to never really serve any of their meals with sides (it's usually extra) so to have slaw and fries with this meal reminded me of how the food is back in America. The service was quick and after ordering, my food came soon after. I enjoyed the gravy more than the barbecue sauce. It had a bit of a sweet taste to it which works well with the chicken (I did find it a bit salty). The portion size was good for the price. I'm not too much of a fan of sweet things but I saw that they had pancakes and would try that next time I check this place out!

I've been converted .. any time I can get into Manchester first 8am I make sure to head to moose for breakfast. The service is always exceptional and the place is doing so well with more and more places opening up and it makes me so happy. The servers are always so nice, and the food is always so good .. I usually go for the grande bouche (French toast with bacon) or veggie version (no bacon) and it is to die for. You get 2 large brioche french toasts and a very generous serving of real maple syrup and I can't get enough. I usually put some syrup in my coffee and Ooof. The portion is great ... I'm content after eating there .. not hungry and not uncomfortably full so it's just perfect and today we had 3 drinks and 3 meals for just under £10 each ... you can't grumble at that at all.
