We had him paint some of the walls yellow, which is a terrible color in terms of coverage, and the paint he used turned out awesome in just two coats (I have painted yellow before and three coats didn't do the trick). He made suggestions to help keep costs down and the final result feels so much cleaner and brighter than the builders grade paint that was here before. It's been a few months since the work was done and the gutters have not leaked since. At least one location was really hard to get to, but Brian took the time to think through solutions and got it done.

I have been ordering mulch and river rock from "The Mulch Queen" Christine Syzmanski for 10 years…read more Their prices are reasonable and the delivery guys expertly drop yards of mulch in some tight spaces. This year Christine suggested I try their "midnight magic" mulch. it's a few dollars more per yard but worth every penny. I needed a lot--30 yards. Looks amazing, so finely ground and really holds its color over a month past I installed it. Then I needed river rock. had no idea how much for a new bed. I gave her the measurements and her estimate of 5 tons was perfect! Not short to save a few bucks. You can't go wrong with the Queen! she and her team are real pros.

This year they tied in a 35 foot drain across back deck and tied it into the other drain as water sometimes came in that way. It seems to be working. Prics was, in my opinion, very affordable. Changed a little for drain as costs have gone up a bit but you need to expect that. All in all PCK Landscaping is always my first choice for that type of work and you should make it yours as well.

Overall good service, and would recommend this landscaping company…read more We had quite a bit of work done: mulching, edging, several bushes removed, grass seed/fertilizer, weed removal, all bushes trimmed, 2 new bushes planted, new rock/slabs installed in grill area, and we had some old decking disposed of; all for about $1600. (I've included a few pictures of some (not all) of the work) That price include all material, labor, and tax. The work was completed in 1.5 days. The guys who did the work were very polite, communicative, and personable. They definitely were hard workers, and knowledgeable on landscaping. The only negative was the delay in scheduling the service. Since they were responsive in getting the work done, and landscaping isn't exactly life/death, it didn't bother us too much.

Anyone who has done this work knows that even with careful planting from reputable nurseries, a number of plants *can* die. In these rare cases, my landscaping plant suppliers have kindly worked with me when this kind of loss occurs. Some have offered a percentage off for replacement and even the big name hardware stores sometimes offer full replacement for stock that fails. But replacement is not the issue. I have no problem when faced with a supplier who *kindly* says they cannot offer any replacement or discount for plant stock that dies - I get that. ---At Cavanaugh Landscaping, When I inquired about an unusually high number of plants that had died after planting, the man I spoke to was rude - and I'm being kind. I can't objectively complain about a 60/70% plant failure rate (although I've never experienced this before) - but I *can* complain about someone who tells me I'm an idiot who doesn't know what the [expletive deleted] I'm doing - even if that is the case. I would pass on spending money here for any number of reasons - some I can't quantify - but some I sure as heck can.

They were extremely helpful with the insurance company as well. The insurance company was trying to lowball my claim and not pay the amount needed to clean the area and make it safe. After all that, they were able to replace my deck that was destroyed in 2 days with a beautiful deck. Not to mention they did all this without me paying any money up front. They were patient knowing I was waiting for my insurance to pay me. You know how good a company is when they need to react during a crisis.
