She was very knowledgeable, and she really helped us determine the best option for our particular refinance situation. Jenny made herself available for any questions or concerns we had, and she answered calls, texts, and emails, even after hours. We are very pleased with the service we received from Jenny. She was always very courteous, professional, and kind. This was a breath of fresh air compared to other experiences we'd had with other mortgage companies in the past. Jenny truly went out of her way to ensure we had a great experience with Churchill. I'm also very impressed with Churchill Mortgage in general. The website was very easy to use, and I liked that when logging in, you always knew what step you were on in the mortgage process. I also liked that you could upload any required documentation directly to the website versus having to email documents back and forth to different individuals. The Churchill staff was great in keeping us on track, and we breezed through the process. I was expecting to close our loan in 45 days or 60 days or more, but the whole process only lasted 30 days from the time we inquired until the date we closed. It was a very easy, painless, process and I'm very satisfied with how everything went for us. I HIGHLY recommend using Churchill Mortgage for either a mortgage for purchasing a home or a refinance. They are awesome!

Me and my wife were excited to move into our new home, but our entire move in experience with…read moreMarshall Reddick has been extremely frustrating. From the very beginning there were issues that should have been handled long before we arrived. First, the security system situation was honestly unacceptable. I was told in writing that there was no alarm system installed. I still have those messages. Then on move in day, when I walked in with my new keys, the alarm immediately went off. I was never given a security code, no instructions, nothing. They also never communicated to me that the security system code was the same code as the house code. The alarm was blaring and warning that police would be alerted, and I had to literally guess that the house code might disarm it. Thankfully it worked, but being told the system didn't exist and then not receiving a code made for a very stressful and unnecessary situation. Next, basic maintenance in the home was not taken care of. Every smoke detector was low battery on move in and I had to pay out of pocket to replace them. Both HVAC air filters were extremely dirty. They eventually mailed a filter, but that does not fix the fact that this should have been handled before we moved in. We also did not have any bathtub plugs, which they sent after I requested them. The fridge water was turned off, so my father in law had to pull the fridge out to get it working. The fridge light bulb was out, and while they offered to reimburse it, again this is something that should have been ready on move in. With our thermostat, it would have been helpful to be informed of the make and model ahead of time so I could at least look up how to use it. This particular smart thermostat was not nearly as simple to figure out as it might seem, especially with no instructions provided, and the battery in it was dead as well. Having to troubleshoot and research all of this on move in day added even more unnecessary stress. There was also confusion about key pickup. I was originally told to pick them up at their office. When I reached out closer to move in, they forgot they told me that and instead said to use a lockbox at the property. This would have been more convenient, but I only found out because I asked. If I hadn't reached out right before move in to remind them about the key pickup, I might have driven all the way to their office in Clarksville only to find out the keys were actually at the property. This is something that should have been communicated clearly without me having to chase the information down. On top of that, the alarm system was still under the previous resident's account. Again, nothing was communicated about this and I had to figure it out myself when the system would not set up correctly. The biggest and most stressful issue has been our HVAC. Since early November we have had constant problems with our heat. It has gone out five different times. We have had to rely on space heaters just to sleep and stay comfortable, and this has been incredibly concerning especially with my wife being pregnant. We have put in multiple maintenance requests and yet we still have not had consistent heat for the entire month and a half we have lived here. As I am writing this review, the heat has gone out again. This has made us extremely uncomfortable in a home we are paying full rent for. To be fair, they offered to reimburse the fridge light bulb, sent bathtub plugs, mailed an air filter after I asked, and they have been communicating with me throughout this process to try and resolve these issues. That effort is the reason this is not a zero star review. Still, none of that changes the fact that nearly every issue I listed should have been handled before move in, and it does not undo the stress we have been under because of the HVAC problem. If you plan on moving into a home in Nashville with Marshall Reddick, I strongly recommend doing a very thorough inspection before committing. Check all batteries, confirm every system, make sure you are given the correct codes, and definitely verify the HVAC is working properly. I hope no one else has to experience the level of inconvenience and discomfort we have gone through.

The workers know my name/my wife/ and family names when I come in!! Personal touch. Quirky: -They use Discover DEBIT Cards... Haven't had an issue yet (costco, etc run it as debit (pin) even though they don't accept Discover) -Cadence has true banking hours To Be Decided: -Cadence has been buying many banks. As a result, they have more of a corporate feel than they use to but still personal feel! -They just released a new app for online banking called Fluent. Haven't used it yet. I did use their older app. Was good for basic banking info. The new one also has a "flash deposits" option. Final Verdict: All in all, I like banking with Cadence. I still have an account with Regions and really prefer the "local feel" in the Cadence Branch. All the free banking perks are nice as well. If you can handle traditional bank hours give Cadence a shot! What I can share is an experience I had with…read morehim as a showing agent and as a tip for homebuyers in the greater Nashville area: Jeremy Hundley and his clients arrived for a scheduled showing on our home. He and his clients obviously weren't aware, but our home is a fully monitored smart home. He allowed his clients to go through every cabinet, didn't monitor them as they helped themselves and went through our personal items, and allowed his 'clients' to uncover our furniture during a brief rain period, soaking it and forcing us to have to air it out, wet vac certain pillows, and have a messy appearance for the next set of showings, not exactly the best thing for a homeowners stress level. While I understand realtors have very demanding jobs, it is up to them to set boundaries, as they wouldn't do any of those things as a guest in someones home. Hopefully Mr. Hundley does a better job remembering that. "This is a basic principle of respect. Do not touch what does not belong to you. Buyers and agents need to be mindful that someone else owns and is paying the mortgage on the property they are viewing or are under contract with. Until the seller turns over the keys, the property belongs to someone else." -Kellie Tinnin

We made our list of "wants" and "needs" without knowing just how hot the East Nashville market was. Once we realized how competitive things were getting, we got a bit nervous, especially because this was our first time going through the home buying process. We spent a couple of months looking at homes while still living in California, and Jeremy was BEYOND helpful with giving us advice, going to look at homes without much notice, and even doing FaceTime tours for us to help us feel like we were there when we couldn't be. He answered each of my many, many questions and addressed all of my concerns without once making me feel like a nuisance. It felt as if we were his only clients. Less than three months after we began our hunt, we had a signed contract on a wonderful home in a beautiful, family-friendly neighborhood that checked every single one of our "wants." I still can't believe how lucky we are to have landed here, but I know we couldn't have done it without Jeremy. He was patient, knowledgable, thorough and guided us through each step of the process with ease - going above and beyond by hooking us up with everything we needed along the way - an amazing mortgage broker, house cleaner, radon specialist, dentist, pharmacy - you name it. He even gave me the down low on an East Nashville Mom's group in my neighborhood. If you are considering a move to East Nashville and want to know which of the many realtors you should place your trust in, Jeremy is your guy. The man knows everything there is to know about the market and the area, and is the only one I would recommend to family and friends. He is a friend for life and I'm grateful to call him my realtor and neighbor!
