He meet with the insurance agent at our house and went over his findings with the agent which I think made a huge difference on the amount we received for the roof. The whole process was smooth and effortless because of him. They showed up on time, did a great job. After the roof and skylights were replaced we had a issue going on with our ceiling, thought it was the roof, it wasn't, Tyler came out and looked at it and fixed the issue for us ( he did not have to help us since it was unrelated to the roof but he did it anyways). I recommend Keystone roofing and Tyler.

TRANSPARENCY IN ROOFING…read more The faces of Whipple Roofing, LLC are Stan 'Stosh' Surey and Brian Gouty. The knowledge, experience, and integrity they and their GAF-certified crew bring lays to waste the adage that 'everyone experiences at least one bad roofer in their lifetime.' We no longer have to with Whipple Roofing. Stan is always (!) one text, email, or phone call away (which is more than I can say about my insurance company regarding my April 26 hail storm claim). I told a Liberty Mutual manager it's embarrassing when the roofer becomes your source of policy information and not your insurance company. Yet also your gift as Stan is more than willing, and capable to kindly, and with great patience walk you through this confusing and challenging process. In the end, yours is an aesthetically and structurally superb roof covered by a consumer-oriented contract and warranty that I suspect is superior to this area. Also, as Stan says they aren't going anywhere (even my last roofer, Home Depot, has quietly folded their roofing division). I believe him and am thankful to the Lord they aren't.

Our roof had just marked over 20 years old and was looking quite worn. My wife requested quotes…read morefrom 3 roofing companies who have worked in our area and were recommended by our neighbors. Dale Shoemaker is one of the owners and came to our house to evaluate. He went on our roof as well as into our attic to see if there was any major damage or possible issues due to hail or wind. While one of the people who quoted said there was wind damage, Dale was very honest and said some of the roofing tiles were extremely worn as shown by the amount of particles in the gutters. What I really liked about him is that he said "honestly you can probably get 1-2 more years on this roof without any issues". No hard closing. He offered us extended warranties and could start as soon as we received approval from our POA. His price was reasonable and in the ballpark of others. They take credit cards, but also charge an additional 3% for that service. Brody from RGR called my wife once we had an approval to set up the job. The first thing they did was deliver the materials to our home and drop it on a pallet. Once they started the job, there were between 8-10 workers onsite. In one day, they fully demoed the roof, repaired any damaged plywood, layed down the protective layer and started applying the roof. They were completely done in less than 1 and a half days. The second day, they finished and detailed some of the corners and overhang. They went around the yard with their large magnet to collect any loose nails. Our neighbors have commented on the speed and quality of the work.

This is not my first rodeo, and his answers to my questions were spot on. He and his son are tech-savvy, which helped me fully understand my situation and options. After he arrived, he left a worker to deal with my husband (who did the work of determining where water was coming in); yes, you heard that right my husband did Seth's job. Here's what Seth said (I overheard it as I was inside but I couldn't believe my ears): Well, I can't be in two places at the same time! Wow! Color me unimpressed, Seth. Yes, we've met. And most people who've met me know me and usually remark: You're memorable. Seth, remember this: courtesy counts. We won't do you any more favors either; we've learned our lesson.

I ended up hiring them to replace the roof and they did an excellent job. Replacing a roof is a bit like buying tires for your car...it's not something that you really want to do, but it is necessary maintenance! These folks got the job done quickly, and it looks beautiful. Price was very reasonable, and they offer financing as well.

Each Team Member provided consistently courteous and quality service within the realm of their specialty area. Initial contact via phone was with Brett, who provided an overview of services and initiated the scheduling of our initial meeting. Sales Rep., Kevin was not only delightful, but delivered a thorough inspection inclusive of rooftop and attic photos illustrating our needs. He outlined the process, discussed color options, and answered all of our, many, questions. Kevin, also, provided things for us to consider that allowed us to be better prepared; noise concerns, pets, securing of items both inside and outside). The Project Manager, Michael, helped determine a timeline and communicated all project details; dumpster arrangements, materials delivery, etc. Crew Manager, Juan, oversaw the actual roofing, working alongside his crew to ensure quality and efficiency, but with consideration to maintaining a "clean" site using tarps around perimeter and covering pool to concentrate the "debris field." Suffice it to say, only ONE roofing nail was found afterwards, and this, prior to Company Owner, Kyle Patrick's final sweep and inspection. Kyle met with us to ensure the job met our expectations, as well as the clearly high standards of South Shore Roofing. We could not be happier with the work done and the final outcome. Would recommend South Shore as THE company to trust! Charles and Beth Rawlinson, Richmond Hill, GA
