Mr. Marshall, that does the upholstery work, has done several of my antique pieces and his workmanship is great. He pays attention to detail and the character of the piece shows through. The most recent items that I took to The Upholstery Shop were two antique wicker rockers that belonged my great grandmother and a small iron table that was painted gold a number of years ago. (I have posted before and after pictures) These items date back to the late 1800's, and have been passed down through my grandmother and mother, who, at some point, painted them brown over the original white. They have been in storage for a number of years, and I wanted to use them, but they were pretty wobbly and unsteady. Mr. Marshall made them sturdy and recovered them in the fabric that I provided and they turned out great and they are very useable. I told them when I took the little gold table to them that I really didn't know what could be done with it but Mr. Marshall worked his magic and I love my little iron table. Joel also freshened up my family pedestal table and chairs and made them look like new. "Thank you" to Joel and his crew for a job well done - I would definitely recommend!!

He gave me an estimate that I thought was fair and promised to have the chair done in two weeks. I was skeptical since other shops told me it would take months. I left the chair and was quite shocked when he called to tell me the chair was finished. Three days before his two week promise. His workmanship is terrific and the chair is better than new. I did not realize how worn out the cushions and arms were. I have another old wing chair that I am going to take to him since he does such super work.
