As someone else mentioned, it's like being on a cruise ship, with so much to do and happy people to do it with. Every single department excels in its care of us, so we feel nurtured and safe. It's amazing how three hundred residents can feel like an extended family, but I credit the amazing staff for always encouraging us to be compassionate and embracing of one another. If you visit The Fountains, you are certain to feel welcome to join in the laughter and camaraderie that abound. It is truly a wonderful place to live, with countless reasons for its five-star rating!

Well, she loves it! Of course, it was an adjustment but she's much happier and has made so many friends! The waterfront view & large outdoor deck is by far the best perk of living here. They also have an extremely friendly staff that customizes their treatment to each individual. My grandma doesn't need much help, and they do a good job giving her the space she needs. Every time I pick her up to go out to breakfast or lunch, she always has great stories of all the activities she's doing everyday. I could go on and on about the benefits of living here. It's worth the cost & I cannot recommend it more!

Her rent started out at $5500 and went up to $6800 in those two years. Plus all the additional charges. I believe their goal is to drain seniors of every penny they have. I sure hope these seniors have families watching out for them. But as bad as Brennity of Melbourne is, their corporate office, in Texas is very accommodating. Just sad that they have to be called to get things done.

They said she was 'combative'. That woman didn't even discipline her son much less be combative-she was a college professor and dean of economics at a massive university. She was not combative. If she was with them, it was when we weren't there and had to be for a good reason- like staff did something to her. In less than 6 wks she had 3 falls-all in the night. They were also strapping her down without our knowledge The 3rd fall landed her in the hospital and this place refused to let her return upon discharge! We also had a bad feeling because day 3, the same poor woman was in her wheelchair each day, same clothes and same spot in the day room. We had to bring her home and watch hospice kill her for 2 more weeks. Was a terrible experience. We are posting this review now b cuz we are having to look for a place for 'dad' now & realizing we should have posted sooner to forewarn people. The woman that we interviewed with back then seemed nice but we now know this was all part of her 'selling the place' act. They only care about collecting your money here - not your person(s) you entrust to them for over $10k a month. We do not recommend this place at all. We have heard great things about Zon Beachside tho-checking that next.
