It's amazing how three hundred residents can feel like an extended family, but I credit the amazing staff for always encouraging us to be compassionate and embracing of one another. Well, she loves it! Of course, it was an adjustment but she's much happier and has made so many friends! The waterfront view & large outdoor deck is by far the best perk of living here. They also have an extremely friendly staff that customizes their treatment to each individual. My grandma doesn't need much help, and they do a good job giving her the space she needs. Every time I pick her up to go out to breakfast or lunch, she always has great stories of all the activities she's doing everyday. I could go on and on about the benefits of living here. It's worth the cost & I cannot recommend it more!

The property is beautiful--I love the screened-in porches and small dining rooms that each wing has that gives it a comfortable "homey" feel. The staff is super friendly, making a strong statement that they want to make my dad and our family happy as much as possible. My dad especially likes that residents can use the fitness center and pool on their own and do not necessarily have to sign up for an exercise class or supervision from staff, allowing self-motivated residents to be more independent. I think Brennity's kitchen and meal times seem to be longer and more flexible than some assisted living homes too. I am especially impressed with Teleia from their sales department and how easy she is to work with. She's been caring and professional and quick to follow through on my questions/requests, demonstrating that they really want to make it a stress free experience to welcome my dad to their community. She has been following up with my family and staying in touch about our needs and timeframe for a possible move. Brennity was more flexible with the uncertain timing of my dad's plans to stay than other local assisted living homes.

Her rent started out at $5500 and went up to $6800 in those two years. Plus all the additional charges. I believe their goal is to drain seniors of every penny they have. I sure hope these seniors have families watching out for them. But as bad as Brennity of Melbourne is, their corporate office, in Texas is very accommodating. Just sad that they have to be called to get things done.
