All 4 of our kids have gone to Little Sunbeams or are currently going. We started there with our oldest at 2, back in 2019 and he went all 3 years, until kindergarten. Our kids are all 2 years apart and we started them the month they turned 2 and were able to start going. Currently, my oldest is 8 and in 3rd grade and both him and my 1st grader are already in the advanced programs at school. Kindergarten teachers were amazed with how much they knew. My daughter is 5 and finishing up her last year at LSB before moving onto kindergarten. She knows how to write her full name and is currently working on site words. My youngest is 3 and has been at LSB for a year and loves it. The best part for me as a mom, is that it is a place where I feel comfortable sending my kids. I know they will be taken care of and loved. It is just a huge plus that they learn so much, and have the opportunity to explore and be creative everyday. Little Sunbeams also has an app, so they give updates there as needed and post pictures everyday- which is also another favorite of mine. The school is affordable and also offers flexible schedules, which we have often taken advantage of. Mrs Miriam is truly an angel. She is the owner and has shaped Little Sunbeams into what it is today. I am always so surprised with how hands on she is to this day with the kids. They love her. Ms Ivis is wonderful as well. If you call or walk in, she will most likely be the person to greet you. She is so welcoming and has answers to all of the questions. She has been such a great addition to the team. Ms Veronica is one of the teachers and has had 3 of my 4 kids. She is one of their besties but knows how to keep order of a classroom so that both learning and fun can be had. Ms Sara is the Spanish and Atelier teacher and she has had all 4 of my kids! She teaches them so much and has incredible patience with them as they are learning. I really can't say enough about this school. If you are on the fence, go check it out for yourself. We are going on our 8th year here and still love it. We will be sad when we have no more preschool aged kids and have to say goodbye.

It is very difficult to find quality childcare in today's day and age without compromising either; 1. The level of care provided by staff, 2. The standard of education/curriculum, or 3. Every time I send her there, I can feel confident that she is safe, well taken care of, and learning the concepts required to prepare her for Kindergarten.

We used this daycare for about a year and initially had a good arrangement. We signed a written…read morecontract for full-time care (Monday-Friday) and paid the full-time rate, even though we typically only used Tuesday-Thursday. We intentionally paid for all five days so we would always have Monday and Friday available if family plans fell through. About a month ago, our needs changed and we requested care Monday-Thursday, giving two weeks' notice. We were told she needed time to figure it out because she had already filled Monday/Friday with another child -- despite us actively paying to reserve those days. We tried to be flexible and worked out coverage for Mondays temporarily, then followed up to confirm a new start schedule. We received no response. When we asked again in person at drop-off, we were unexpectedly told we were being dropped from care entirely. At that point, we were also told our child had ongoing issues with sleep, eating, and being "too needy" -- none of which had ever been communicated to us previously during pick-ups, drop-offs, or messages. These concerns only surfaced after we asked to use the additional days we were already paying for. Overall, this experience showed a lack of communication, disregard for a signed agreement, and poor handling of scheduling. Being double-booked on days we paid for and then dropped with no prior warning broke our trust completely. While a short transition period was offered, the way this was handled made it very difficult to feel comfortable continuing in any capacity. I would not recommend this daycare based on our experience.

I hate writing this but I need to. I even waited so long in hopes that this daycare would be back…read moreto the amazing daycare we once thought it was. Let start with what just happened this last Wednesday. My wife goes to pick up my son however he comes out without his back pack or water bottle we sent him with so my wife kindly ask that we do bring it back because we do use it for more occasions other than school. 10 minutes later the teacher comes back empty handed and asks my wife to go back and look for it herself. After instructing my wife that it should be with one of the cubby's, we realize he doesn't have his own cubby in the 2's room. Understandable considering he's transitioning into the 3's room. Well after no luck in the 2's she moves into the 3's room to find his backpack simply just sitting on a desk in the middle of the room. Fair enough, we recognized this was a newer teacher however, after careful inspection she realized even in the 3's room he didn't have his own cubby. My son has no designated spot for him in this school. Well, as upset as she is she takes my son home and notices a smell. Well, he's almost 3 in the process of potty training so maybe an accident? No. And old accident they didn't even bother to change his underwear after, as well as residuals on my sons butt from not being properly cleaned up. What's the point of sending the 3 back up pairs of clothes they specifically ask for if they're not going to bother changing my son after an accident, so now he has an awful rash that pains him just to sit down Now onto the tuition. For the last several months my wife and I have been paying for three days a week for my son to attend. Just recently my wife moved to part-time at her work and was able to take him usually an extra day so sometimes we would only need two days of daycare. After I personally spoke to the Director of the kids Academy daycare I was given the OK to only have to pay for two days of daycare. After about three weeks of doing so the Director comes back and tells me I've been under paying and I need to make sure that I pay back the remaining that I owe. well apparently she was talking about the extra day that we hadn't been paying for for the last couple of weeks because she told me I didn't have to. So they want to head and back charged me charging me a total of $250 cover the current weeks tuition of three days and the last couple of days we DIDNT send my son. Now they expect me to pay for 3 days even if he only attends 2 to make sure to "keep his spot". I'm sorry, what did I pay his $125 enrollment for? Oh right, HIS SPOT. I'm sorry Kids Academy but we as parents have been dreading our son going to your daycare we've even decided to send him elsewhere. Big disappointment and don't waste your money on this careless daycare that smells like dirty diapers the second you walk in. Disgusting
