I've used a few other laundry mats in the area over the last 10 years and I'm the most satisfied with this one. The wash/dry/fold prices are the best around. The ladies that work there all quickly learned my name and always greet me with a "hi Caitlyn!" when I walk in, which I love. My clothes are always clean, smell fresh, and are neatly folded and well organized. I've been going there for maybe 8 months and I haven't lost anything or received anyone else's clothes, which is a common issue with this kind of service. I believe the hours are 7am to midnight, but it's not listed anywhere online and there isn't a phone number for the place that I could find, so at the beginning it was kind of a gamble trying to stop in at a weird hour.

I was very specific about the details--monogram placement, font, and even requested that my name be done in all lowercase. Unfortunately, every item was done incorrectly. The monogram on the scarf was placed upside down (so when worn, it read incorrectly), and both the sweatshirt and pajamas were embroidered in the wrong font and not in lowercase as requested. When I brought this to their attention, I was told the original items could not be corrected and would need to be replaced and re-embroidered. To their credit, they agreed to repurchase the items. However, when I returned to pick them up, none of the items had been embroidered at all--and the pajamas provided were not even the correct pair. At that point, I requested a refund for the embroidery services I never received. I was told the employee present was unable to process a refund. I had to insist on getting something in writing stating that I would be refunded, but I have little confidence this will actually happen. I have not received a phone call, email, or any other communication to try to rectify the issue or send a refund. I've since filed a dispute with my bank. Between the repeated errors, lack of attention to detail, and inability to resolve the issue properly, this was an incredibly frustrating experience--especially given that these items were meant for a special occasion. I would not recommend this business based on my experience. The level of inaccuracy and lack of follow-through here is simply unacceptable.

I found Vanity on a handful of positive Yelp reviews. My experience has been smooth sailing so far. I was greeted promptly from beyond a well-signed plexiglass partition that kept front of house separated reasonably from back of house; masks were worn by staff and requested of patrons. Turnaround time was ~4 days without rush, which is what I generally expect. Pricing was varied among garment types, and in line what I'm accustomed to paying. Most importantly, my order was ready when promised, and my clothes look crisp and refreshed. I've found a new go-to, and I recommend Vanity.
