He then told me he was on a tight schedule. I told him give me few minutes. Jay then left without telling me anything and told he had to other business. We went back and forth and I told him that was very unprofessional and my son was waiting. My son finally left and Jay tried calling and texting to see if he could come back. I told him no sir and please stop contacting me. He texted again and I had to block him. Very unprofessional and wouldn't recommend him at all. Door switch was sourced and fitted on follow up visit. Cody claimed system was having credit card processing technical issues and requested the $260 via Venmo. We have since noticed that the credit card was indeed charged ... we were double charged for the same visit. Cody has been called, text messaged and E-Mailed. 3 weeks have passed without any follow up, hence resorting to leaving this review on Google and Yelp. In short, responsive but will over-charge you. Beware. [FYI, home page of the website shows stellar reviews ... on digging deeper, this seems to be a screen capture rather than actual up to date customer reviews ... I spoke to Cody who manages and operates Houston Appliance Repair and he provided me a reasonable quote for fixing the problem. I could have replaced it at the cost of $600 (No Way!) I only had one option and asked Cody to do the work. I had a diagnostic done and it was determined the fan motor went out. He got the part, replaced it and had me back up and running in no time.
