This is a good basic hotel in a quiet village and location, just outside Milton Keynes. Bedrooms are clean and quite large, but all the fittings are somewhat old fashioned and in need of renovation. Breakfast is served in an annex, like a village hall, and the room itself is quite frankly drab and depressing. However, the choice of food is reasonable and well cooked too. So a mixture of good points and some not so good, but the value for money ratio is certainly very good. You wouldn't get anything for else at that price anywhere else and there is a lot to be said about staying in a clean place, even if basic.
