It is not my full time residence yet he provided better service than other in person contractors. He sent many photos of before and after. We have contracted with them 4 times for projects on the exterior and interior of our house and even a fence, wood work, drywall and ceiling repairs, so we can provide feedback on their excellent quality of work they deliver. Very professional and the new deck feels so much stronger! We opted to wait on new hand rails since the goal is to eventually add a roof or maybe enclosed sunroom on the upper part. They went above and beyond by removing my plantation shutters and replacing all my door knobs, AC vent covers, and every light switch and outlet cover so I could move into a fresh, clean slate. Jose and his daughter, Stacy Aguilar were great to work with and communicated each aspect of the job providing tips and insights for the exterior painting of our home, deck, and fence. The important prep job was done thoroughly, and we were impressed by the pressure washing of our two-year old untreated fence that had become mildew stained. It looked like it was just newly installed after they were done, and it now looks beautiful with the two coats of stain they applied. Their prices for each aspect of the job were very reasonable. They certainly go the extra mile. Painting by Jose & J will be our go-to painters for all future painting and power washing needs. We highly recommend them for your painting projects.

For any prospective clients, JJ Jimenez is a fraud, promising "a high quality finish", but in…read morereality delivers the quality of school children painting your home. In addition, he is highly litigious. For poor quality work he demands full payment and will immediate sue rather than correcting work or offering higher quality resources to rectify poor quality. On Scoping: While he promises a "high quality finish in his statements of work, he is vague on what work is scoped and leverages that vague language to claim that work has been satisfactorily completed. On Material Selection He lacks the expertise to select the correct paint for job. For instance he used a matte paint on doors and molding, which is not best practices. If you choose this vendor, you need to inspect all material brought into your house to validate they are using correct material. On Prep Work While his statement of work said all staircases would be covered, they were not. This has resulted in needing to have runners on stairs replaced. His team also fails to properly tape and cover stained wood surfaces. I am currently scoping several thousand dollars of work to have wooden doors and floors sanded and re-stained due to their poor prep work. On overall quality Vendor missed many areas, there was paint destined for floor boards and molding that ended up on walls, missed spots, and drip marks. In addition, his team paints over sanded areas, meaning all surfaces will need to be re-sanded, primed, and repainted On timelines His teams move quickly to the detriment of quality. It was inextricable that prepping and applying 2 quotes would be done in under two days. On customer satisfaction His team doing the work are hard to communicate with and if there are issues both his team and himself are combative with home owners. I would never trust him or his team to be in your home with your wife or children without you present. In addition, rather than doing quality work he would rather sue
