I'm not the best "explainer" but Michelle understood what I wanted in our backyard and her crew executed it perfectly, even accommodating a last minute request. I was disappointed when our job was pushed back a week because we had a big outdoor party planned for the 4th. The crew was able to get the sod in on an earlier timeline by stopping by whenever they had a few extra hours. Everything else came together on the later timeline. Do not use GreenOuse. In Aug.2017 they redid my front yard. About 7-8 plants died within 2 weeks. They didn't test to see if the water was getting to the plants. After several phone calls & e-mails, Rob came out & replaced a bad valve. Then, in about a week, I had a flood. the new valve was bad. Rob did replace 2-3 of the dead plants & said the others were not in stock. Never heard back from them, until Dec. when I e-mailed a picture of my yard now, because they did not put down a weed barrier. She replied, said I really need maintenance, offered to give me a price & once again said Rob would replace the dead plants. Now it's Feb. 18th 2018, never got a price for maintenance, never replaced plants. PAID to much, for a front yard full of WEEDS. read more

I don't know if I have the words to describe how I felt when I saw the front of the house redone or not...it looks absolutely spectacular! How Michelle took a few of our ideas and likes - some fantastic recommendations from her and Rob and his crew turned half dead Bermuda grass, dated ivy and junipers and some half dead plum trees into a yard that should definitely be in Sunset. Oh did I mention all is drought tolerant, a water feature with no actual water and a pathway that ties it all together meandering through it all. We had Michelle design our backyard which for 17 years was a weed patch. She spend lots of time with us and came up with a beautiful plan that was more than we had expected. We selected the low maintenance plants she suggested which required minimal watering and she provided us a very detailed bid for the work. The estimate was very fair and we were able to make minimal changes as the project moved along. Please do not use Greenouse Landscape. Unreliable and they take a very long time to get back to their customers. Major disconnect between plans discussed with Michelle and Rob executing the actual work. The apple tree they planted (not the one I wanted) is now dying and there are weeds popping up all over the place because they failed to put down weed barrier. The pergola they built is off centered and wasted a bunch of pavers in this space. This is the worst buyer's remorse I've ever had. I paid way too much for what they delivered. I want to warn others about GreenOuse Landscaping. We hired them to maintain the landscape in our HOA community and they have done a *horrible* job. I would never hire them again as they have shown absolutely no desire to correct their horrible work practices - even when we ask them to stop butchering our trees, bushes and flowers. I asked to speak with their owner and she never returns calls. I was shocked that she just refuses to return calls. When we pointed out that they butchered yet another row of bushes in our community they tried to blame it on a construction company that did work on the second floor of a building in our community. We know for a fact that the construction company did not touch the plants. The people they use are not trained landscapers and it appears that all they want to do is butcher the landscape so they can minimize their work and get paid. GreenOuse has been doing our yard maintenance for some time, it is great coming home to a fresh yard two times a month on a regular basis....I say that because our last maintenance crew seemed to come whenever they felt like it. Due to their awesome work and wanting to spruce up the yard a bit we asked for an estimate to upgrade our landscape. They came to our house and gave us a quote in a timely manner, after deciding we wanted the work done and returning a signed estimate, they were at our house within days and had the work done faster then that. Our backyard was being redesigned completely, and we needed landscape construction for the plants, deck (with hot tub built into it) and a meandering walkway to be constructed with our giant pavers to be broken up into pieces. We had a landscape plan drawn up by someone already. We are overjoyed with the results, and here's a few details: -Michelle came out to bid the job and while her quote was more than the other quote, her questions and level of detail she delved into assured me she actually understood the job so I wouldn't be hit with unexpected costs down the road. The bid was very thoroughly itemized as well. -her deck subcontractor was amazing. -we had an issue with a drip, and Rob came out and worked on it until it was fixed. -the walkway looks so awesome. They had to break up giant pavers into roughly similar size pieces and then rough the edges so there weren't any straight edges. We are really impressed at how it turned out. -Michelle and Rob worked with my landscape designer really well, and I am grateful for the collaboration. In fact, my designer was also impressed by Michelle and didn't have to project manage it at all, like she often has to do. So thanks you guys, I think we'll bbq tonight in our shiny new backyard. read more

I need to lower review score further.... ... problems continue... with no help from Michelle or Rob to resolve issues. initial plan was nice but execution, timing and final results were more than painful. We had time, which was good, because the sheet mulching process took several months followed by multiple faucet, valve leaks, tubing leaks, timer malfunctions, and weeds that took over the entire landscape. Quote to clean up their own weedy mess was ridiculous. Total lack of customer care and sadly, what could have been a gorgeous project, turned out to be an $11,000 waste of money. We have spent an additional $1000 replacing plants and multiple repairs on the irrigation system. We continue to deal with watering system problems 6 months later and have paid hundreds in water surcharges due to leaks. No weed fabric was used and sheet mulching did not work. We have to pay $120 a month to keep up with the weeds and double that each month for ongoing repairs. No a happy customer. read more

Michelle designed a beautiful back yard for me after a renter moved out ( having trashed the back yard with his dogs, and 8 puppies) I love it ! Their prices are very fair, and when I did have an issue with a plant being removed by a worker - a poppy bush that was beautiful, but getting quite large, Michell got back to me right away, and tried her best to get something replanted- it was too late, but she tried, and was right on top of it.
