We didn't have much time to spend here sadly, as we were just filling some time before an appointment. I noticed the sign when we were coming into Greenock and being a sucker for a museum I convinced hubby to let us go with only 20 mins to spare.
$5 admission fee which was reasonable and fair for the amount you got to see.
When we pulled up we weren't immediately sure where to go and there was no one about so we were a bit lost. We tried a shed and thankfully it was the right one and there was a lovely man in there to greet us.
I am absolutely devastated that I didn't get more time here as it was genuinely interesting. I loved the big airforce plane and hubby liked the gunmans 'turrets'.
Once you have completed the circuit there are more planes out the back and a farm machinery exhibit with teachers etc in a shed.
There is also a local crafts gift shop which we didn't get to visit today in our rush.
We will be back with friends in tow to have a long in depth look at this gorgeous private collection. read more
