My name is Ariel H. I currently went into Greenlight on Bannister for my first time, usually I will go to State line. When we have gone to Bannister, it is usually my fiancé going in and taking care of things or we are in the drive thru. I walked in the door and was instantly greeted by thee SWEETEST lady. she was an older lady at the front desk, I believe she had glasses! I didn't get her name. She was very personable, put an instant smile on my face while entering & while leaving. My bud tenders name was Melissa, she was absolutely great. I was in a hurry, I told her what I was looking for and she pointed me out 2 that would fit the description I gave. I purchased them and they were great. Melissa was such a friendly and engaged employee. Informed me on things I was not aware of beforehand. I am not sure I received any first-time discounts. I am not sure if you offer those or not, many other places have. But I forgot to even ask, due to how great of an experience I had! I would like to know if that is a thing that you do or not. I have nothing but positive for Greenlight dispensary. I've been going since they opened. They really get brownie points with me by offering discounts if you haven't been in. They send out a invite with a coupon to come back. They actually talk to you. They smile and try to figure out what they can do to help. That old fashioned customer service is very important to me. Your not just another dollar sign. They also occasionally have gifts. Merch gifts the grinder/card is awesome! I got that being a part of the Founders Club , Little things like that are important as a medical client. I also like the customer rewards with Greenlight. They make it where if you come in regularly you get a little break. It's usually a 5$ or 10$ savings but that helps. Again making me feel as a customer important. This did NOT happen at this retail location: A racially charged incident happened at a Greenlight Warehouse (6000 Manchester Trafficway KCMO) where Rove has a lab. Alexis "Lexi" Sorbel said on 09/09/2026 aloud on the floor, "BIPOC people need to get over racism because everyone's family regardless of race has been enslaved at some point". this is not Lexi's first offense, in fact it's a pattern of behavior that's been allowed to continue for a long time. Rove manager at this location James Gantz interviewed all involved. But Lexi left his office laughing & told a BIPOC employee, "Oooooh, stay away from me, I'm "trouble"." Employees want Lexi terminated immediately. They're already seeking recourse. read more

I dont frequent this location a lot but I have been there a handful of times since I live close by. They have a great variety of products to choose from IMO. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable as well. I would definitely recommend checking out this location. read more

I've been to several Greenlight dispensary's in Kansas City, and Bannister is by far the best and Stateline is absolutely the worst. As a medical patient Stateline is very convenient, but the rude budtenders keep me from going back. read more
