They had coffee, boba, desserts like cookies, waffles, cheesecake bites, pupusas, tamales, hummus, yogurt, tacos, honey, kettle corn, peanuts, and aguas frescas. My favorites were the elotes stand, the stand next to it making tofu skewers, and the hummus stand. The corn was sweet and tasty! The skewers were delicious! The business owner, George, said it was his fourth week at this farmer's market. If you enjoy tofu, definitely give it a try! I also picked up different types of hummus and pita bread. I got basil hummus, chipotle hummus, avocado hummus, and spicy pepper hummus. I also had a taco de birria. The taco had a generous amount of birria but unfortunately lacked flavor. The consome also lacked flavor. I will be returning to try other items and getting a tofu fix!

It is currently back at Barnes Park near City Hall around the tennis/pickleball courts. The band that was playing there 2 Thursdays ago was surprisingly very good. I would go back just to listen to them play. The market has a variety of cooked to order foods, drinks, and kettle/caramel corn. There were only a couple of booths offering fresh fruit & vegetables for purchase. Our highlight was our Leaflet drinks. Interesting flavors and yes they tasted good! We ordered a Blue Butterfly tea, Dear Jasmine coffee and I honestly don't remember the third drink. The dear Jasmine was my favorite but I am partial to coffee. If you are in the area on a Thursday late afternoon -early evening, stop by and enjoy the small farmer's market.

Lots & lots of vendors selling fruits, vegetables (a myriad of some that you may not see in regular supermarkets), cooked/prepared foods, salsas, honey, nuts, baked goods. Come check out all my 20+ photos- I tried my best to capture almost every single one of the vendors here at this farmers market. There is plenty of street parking available and then there's free parking by Blossom Market Hall, except when there is a showing at the playhouse or an event, then it's going to be close to impossible snatching a space to park your bucket of bolts. The vendors & staff are friendly & accommodating. Free samples are usually given out. It's a fun way to spend a Saturday morning, for a solo outing or family outing. Check out the information booth for a chance to win a raffle $100! You earn 1 ticket per vendor you buy from & an extra ticket for bringing your reusable bag. It's fairly large & organized, prices are competitive. You may walk around to get the best deal per pound from different vendors. Torrance fmr mkt is my favorite one but this one is close by. At around 10:37-ish, a lot more people started trickling in. Still not too shabby. The market is a little smaller than Alhambra's farmer's market, but they are still new. I'm sure there will be more vendors eventually. Some of the vendors I've seen are tea, fruit & veggie stands, fish catch of the day, hummus, and assorted baked goods. I decided to try the tamale stand, which sold tamales at $5 per piece. My favorite has to be the cheese and chili tamale. The masa was also very good. The beef tamale had a bit of a kick and was also delicious. Free parking is available in the public parking lot or street parking.

We took the Metro - A Line over to the South Pasadena Station and we could immediately smell the delicious barbecue and hear the live music from the market nearby. Follow your senses! I think taking the Metro would be easier than finding parking since it was really busy. We were both surprised about how large this farmers' market was with many food vendors, artisan goods, and of course fresh fruits and vegetable taking up multiple streets. Definitely the type of place you want to go to enjoy some snacks here, and then take some produce and goods home. One of the first things I saw were oysters but we were patient and decided to walk through the whole market first to see what our options are. After walking through the whole event, we came back for the oysters, and also got some roasted corn and a nutella crepe. Yum! Also we both felt like the prices with the vendors here were all very fair and reasonable. As my boyfriend puts it, you can get some of your favorite fair snacks without being price gauged. Also, there is a free museum in the area about the history of Pasadena that is open late on Thursdays to align with the farmers' market. Overall I felt like this is one of the biggest farmer markets I've been to with a wide variety of snacks, vendors, goods, and entertainment. Thursdays are normally hard for us to trek to the area after work, but I would definitely be back when my schedule allows. I'll bring my big cooler bag next time to take more goodies home with me.

The masa is decent and the tamale is larger than the average. I liked the pork one. I tried beef and pork. It had softer mass which means more lard. It it was good. It is not like the place I go to in ela or El Monte but good for the convenience. I have gone twice here and last night there was another new tamale guy. I didn't try his, only the guy from ingle wood. I also went to the Mediterranean place from Monrovia. 10.00 for a salad, not bad I tried all the combo meat lamb chicken. The shaved ice will be the hit during the summer months. I saw a place that sold grilled whole squid which I thought was interesting. I wouldn't buy it myself personally but I mentioned it to my coworker and she told me she loves it that way. She pays 8.00 and is only 6.00 at the farmers market. They definitely have a variety of vendors and attractions for kids. Come out and support the farmers market if you have time. It is nice to have something in the city.

The market itself is smaller than some of the other ones nearby, but I love the variety of produce and particularly fruit. Almost every Saturday, I buy whatever is in season and delicious. I usually stop at Guzman Farms for plums, pears, Weiser Family Farms for melons and potatoes, and Underwood Farms for all my vegetables. Underwood is always busy, but I do love that they have a frequent shopper punch card to save $10 after you get enough punches. When they are there, I will also get fruit/peaches from Tonarelli (which has my favorite peaches) and Galpin Farms Some of the other notable stands include eggs, meat, fish and baked goods. There are a few prepared food stands like a tamale stand, pita/spreads, and Italian food. I know that many farmer's markets have become like food courts, but that's not really the case here. Parking can be difficult but if you get there early around 7:30 am, there are still a good number of spaces available.

Farmers market is set up next by a high school. Parking is at the front of the high school. Do come early because parking is limited based on what I could tell. A good variety of vendors from all over Northern and Southern California. They were all super friendly and nice. You may find fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, juices, organic goods, non-food items, and so much more. Some vendors offer free samples so you can taste before you buy. I found some of the best oranges I have ever eaten from here. I've only been here once. Pershing Square recently renovated the area and now this farmers market is even better than ever. I come to something just walk around here and end up getting fruits usually. They are organic and fresh as they come. Also, the food options here keep changing for the better. Recently a Rice Ball place has been coming and its a hit for sure. They set up around the circle water fall on the south west corner closest to 6th and Olive. I would definitely recommend this farmers market to all. They maintain it very well, its not dirty and with the renovation the place looks much better. It does get pretty busy during the lunch rush but most lines move quickly. Again, the fruit and vegetables are great here plus the other items they sell from different vendors. I like having this alternate option for lunch when I am eating out, rather than the same restaurants around the area. Most places accept only cash but now some have begun accepting debit cards as well. Come and enjoy this farmers market if you are in the area on Wednesdays from 11am to 1:30pm!

Veggies herbs Fruits breads and muffins roasted nuts raw honeys fudge raw vegan almond dips (good!) etc. There used to be a lady who sold a plethora of different sprouted seeds and beans and grains. I loved it. But she has disappeared. I guess not enough people knew the power of sprouts! I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more variety now and then, but I understand, it's small, and probably not a huge turnout for the vendors. But I hope it sticks around. #1 Yelp 100 2013 challenge.

I've been here once so far (which I regret not coming sooner since I work here). I hope that there will be more additions to the market, but even now, it is still very fun to visit. There are many plants and herbs for you gardeners out there. I saw like two variations of basils, some ghost pepper plant, scented rose geranium and many more! There's at least 3 plant booths. There are lots of veggies & fresh fruits, and may I add they are gigantic! Like double the size of the fruits in grocery stores. And the best part is, they let you taste most of their fruits so you can see how sweet they are before you buy them! there's also like 3 of these booths. There is an almond spread booth... and they are delicious. My favorite flavor is the tomato basil and the jalapeno cilantro. Every flavor is available for tasting. It's $5 for a box, but $12 if you buy 3. There is a salsa booth with so many different types of salsa. I didn't try any though so i cant comment of it except there's quite a huge crowd around it. So i have to imagine it's pretty good. I gotta taste test these next time. The bread booth is pretty popular too. They have all sorts of unique bread you don't usually find at a grocery store. My friend bought some kind of rosemary garlic bread for $4. They also have some other baked goods besides bread. There is a honey booth which isn't that popular, but i bought the honey stix (4 for $1) because they were fun to eat. They taste good too. They also sell regular honey in little bottles. I'm sure those would go great with tea. There is a spice booth and they have spices out for you to smell and taste. This is also not as popular, but no surprise there. Nothing seems out of the ordinary with these spices... except they can come in huge sizes. If you need like cajoun, garlic salt, garlic pepper, spicy n hot spices, you should check this booth out. The spice guy seemed to know his stuff and can recommend spices to you depending on what you want to cook (or attempt cooking) There is a dried fruits booth... actually there may be 2 but they don't have the same types of dried fruits. One had stuff like dried mango, chili mango (which I'm coming back for next time because I forgot to buy some today). The other stand had like flattened dried fruits and some other stuff I can't remember off the top of my head. That's all the booths I remember from today's visit. I will be sure to update with pics the next time I go! In general, this is a fun place to visit on Thursdays, especially if you are at City of Hope that day. But even if you're not, you should come by and check it out anyways. It is open to the public. Be sure to bring cash. Some stand do take credit card though (prob with a minimum) so I guess you can bring both! I believe this will only be here all summer until the fall, so come check it out before it ends!
