Katrina eating while she is cooking a to go order
    Jailyn O.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs! One of the owners, Gubi was extremely rude and discriminated against me. He decided he didn't like me and then after he berated me, he just treated me like I didn't exist. He actually ignored me completely. The other owner, Katrina, did the same thing. At one point they both were laughing at me. I don't think I have ever been treated so poorly at a restaurant in my life. I videoed the second part of it because I was so astonished by the treatment. When I left, there was a man outside. He told me that the owner Gubi is condescending and has a power and control thing over women. From how I was treated, I believe it. I said it's the new year, we're all humans, let's be kind to one another and Gubi and Katrina laughed at me. In addition to the devastating service and discrimination, Katrina eats while she is cooking to go orders, like throws pieces of food in her mouth from the dish she is cooking for someone to eat. And Gubi itches his face. Seems highly unsanitary and is just disgusting Greenhaus should not be supported.

Well done with the food!! There were several items to choose from and a pretty good selection of sauces that came with the snack box, too! Drinks were a little on the sparse side, but not bad. The food came out pretty quickly. The service was just there and seemed like the one guy working was doing it all. We weren't really greeted or anything but it didn't matter to me. After flying all day, was just looking for some good veg food! The ambiance at this place was a bit divey but no problems there! Would return here for the food. Oh, they also do catering!

Great vegetarian food! Highly recommend the tacos with paneer. The treena side was unfortunately too heavy with rice, and wasn't particularly our cup of tea, but the pizza was fantastic as well.

Quick and easy service ordering via iPad. The staff person was not super friendly but did offer me a sample of the tofu when I expressed concern about it being too spicy (it wasn't!) and that was great. Highly recommend the cheese naan it was so yummy. The vibes are very fast casual but fine for a quick bite. Would rather get it to go if I went back again.

Absolutely delicious!! I got the Nirvana Burger and it was amazing, plus the seasoning on the seasoned fries is to die for. This isn't a sit down restaurant, it more of quick take away place, so is a little bit tight with minimal indoor/outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Plus, the offer vegan cheese! I will definitely be recommending people to try this place!

Food was delicious, fresh and cooked to order. We got samosas, Haus veggie pizza, nirvana burger and veggie fried rice. Everything was delicious. We loved the haus season so much that we purchased some to take home and use. I highly recommend this small business if you are in search of vegetarian and vegan lunch and dinner options. Service was excellent and the establishment was clean with great music! Will definitely add this to our staple of Friday night treats.

Greenhaus replaced a Chinese food take-out spot in this small plaza where JV's Mexican Food is located off Morena Blvd in Linda Vista. I used to drive by this area more frequently when the gyms were fully open before the pandemic. The transition to Greenhaus occurred nearly six months prior, but I didn't notice the change until a few weeks ago. The menu is now vegetarian-based Indian cuisine. You pick a style first... wrap, salad, burger, taco, or plate. Next, you choose a protein, sauce, and side to finish the order. Snacks and drinks were also available as a la carte choices. My selection was a Happy Belly Plate which was one protein (six veggie meatballs), one sauce (simmered saag), and two sides (basmati rice, classic naan). For $12, the amount of food was very good. My primary issue was the ratio of carbs to sauce. A small cup of saag was provided which was not nearly enough to match up with the amount of rice and naan provided. The plate ended up being dry because the sauce was quickly used up. An adjustment to the spiciness level should have also been offered as it was difficult to know what kind of heat to expect. Overall, I gave my Greenhaus experience a 3.5 star rating.

Can you order the masala fries vegan by just asking them to hold the cheese?

When we were there, the place wasn't crowded and the service was excellent. Our meal started with a shared order of the Meat Samosas. They are large and flavorful without being overly greasy. The filling is tasty and the wrapper has a satisfying crispness. We both decided on the Kheema Sali (which does not appear on the website's menu) from the Bombay Bites section. They are a new addition and one I hope becomes permanent. These are the Indian version of build-it-yourself sliders and, in both our opinions, are excellent: 2 large toasted slider buns and far more than enough filling to build more. Everything was properly prepared with the right hint of spicy and interwoven flavors that makes Indian food so good (when it's done right). I'm sure we will be back next time we are in the area around lunchtime.

It lacked flavor and was slightly soggy. For my main dish, I ordered the Goa Style Garlic Chicken. It came with rice, cabbage, and naan bread, and I upgraded to the garlic naan. The chicken was breaded and served with a spicy garlic dipping sauce, which I enjoyed (4/5). The garlic naan had a pleasant garlic flavor, though it didn't stand out too much (3/5). Service was good overall. Our server was friendly and checked on us often.

There are both vegetarian and meat options for curry. I opted for the chicken tikka masala and the chicken Karahi. My brother got two orders of the Chana masala. Portions were sizable (in fact, there's a sign on the lunch specials that specifically says "no sharing" which is odd and a bit of putting, but whatever). They ask for your desired spice level from 1-10. I got an 8 and it wasn't very spicy at all. There's seating both inside and outside, and they will bring the food out to you on a legitimate plate even though it's register service. There is self-serve water along with soft drinks. I liked the sauces that were put on the table and enjoyed the curries. The karahi was excellent and the tikka masala was decent. My brother, however, wasn't as fond of his dish. I tried a bite of his as well and agreed that the spice profile wasn't great. Naan was yummy although I prefer a doughier naan. Overall good Indian food in a cute plaza. No frills by any means but it was a tasty, affordable lunch.

We waited for a few moments by the entrance, and then we were seated at a two top next to the raised tables on the carpet. We ordered samosas, Naan, Chicken Saag & Mango Chicken. Dal: We were gifted two small cups of dal (lentil soup) with fresh cilantro. It was not as flavorful as it has been in the past, so we added salt and pepper, and that brought it to life. Samosas: Delicious! They were on the smaller side, but the tamarind sauce was delightful. - $4.99 Garlic & Cilantro Naan: Great and reasonably priced - $3.99 Chicken Saag - Spice level 4 - pretty hot, very tasty. Chicken and spinach in a rich sauce. - $15.99 Mango Chicken - Spice 4 - pretty hot, slightly sweet sauce and very flavorful chicken. - $15.99 Basmati rice: fine :) Glass bottles of water were placed on the table immediately, and when we finished one, another one was brought over right away. We appreciated this! There is plenty of parking in the lot. The could-be-better: The service was rather uneven today because there were only two waiters for the whole dining room and they had to seat folks, bus tables, handle to-go orders, and wait on tables. They definitely need more staff on weekends. As a result, the service came across as a bit gruff and harried. Our table near the carpeted seating areas was a little too small for all of the dishes, and when our used dishes were not taken off of the table, it was quite crowded. Additionally, when families arrived who needed to sit at the tables on the carpet, we were surrounded by people taking their shoes off, and it felt awkward and uncomfortable for a few minutes. We were just about done with our food when the families arrived, so we left shortly afterward, but it could be a bit much if we were there longer. There should be a "please wait to be seated" sign by the front door so customers don't walk into the restaurant and stand around by the desk, and crowd the folks who are already seated in the dining room, or worse, pounce on a table that someone else is waiting for. Overall: The food here is good and reasonably priced. I will probably opt for take out more often than I dine in going forward (just to avoid the crowds), but I will be back. This restaurant feels authentic and genuine, and I like supporting family-owned businesses whenever possible. Mahalo!
