The historical building is a chateau-like structure in the heart of Lakewood. It shares a parking lot with St James Corporate Center. If you've been to the old location, you'll recognize similar interior design but be impressed with the new space. The new space is absolutely gorgeous and has incredible amenities. The first floor features a lobby, waiting area with velvet couches in neutral colors, and nail room. There's also a bar and exterior area currently with igloos! My favorite part about the first floor are privacy curtains where you can lounge in your own world between services or while waiting. The basement has Himalayan salt room, Finnish sauna, cold plunge room, and Korean scrub space. The Finnish sauna is my favorite amenity - spacious, clean, and perfectly hot. The space now offers memberships where you can visit the amenities. You can also add-on amenities use. If you're not getting any services, you can purchase a day pass for $95. Your day pass grants you access to sauna, cold plunge, salt room access, access to the lobby, patio, and bar. The space is really refined and feels like a vacay, worth every penny. The new spa location offers same services we all love - massages, facials, nail services, waxing and tinting, Korean scrub, and more. Service truly feels better than it ever did before. You get exceptional and personalized care. All professionals are amazing. I especially love getting pedicures from Heather, she's so friendly and an amazing professional! I highly recommend visiting this new location. I love Sacred Hour and can't wait to visit again. I'm thinking that I'll book Korean scrub next! I loved this service in the old space, and probably will love it in the new one!

I don't think I've ever left a Yelp review in my life but I'm super disappointed in my experience…read morehere. I was so excited to try this place and went here for the first time for a 1 hour 15 minute head / neck / shoulder / feet massage. She ended the massage 10 minutes early, and cut it short. Further, the days following, and still today, I am in SO much pain. She twisted my neck in some bizarre way, and I'm not prone to neck pain and I've received many deep tissue massages and I understand soreness after a massage, but this was not a deep tissue massage, so there should be no reason for any muscle soreness. This is more like a severely pulled muscle. I've been taking ibuprofen and I am still in a lot of discomfort. Overall I would never come here again especially after paying $172 (they automatically add in 20%). If I am paying this much I expect the full duration of the time I scheduled and paid for, and also a masseuse that uses care and consideration and doesn't rush the massage. So disappointed! also, the receptionist wasn't very friendly but I won't even hold that against them because I do understand some people aren't very social, but it made me feel not welcomed. Ugh.

I've been getting regular facials for two years, but decided to try somewhere closer to my home…read more I've always heard great things about Sacred Hour, and I was glad to see the offered an express facial. When I walked in, the receptionist was not friendly in the slightest. She even asked my a question, picked up her cell phone and appeared to be typing on it. Since she was preoccupied by her phone, she wasn't listening to me, and had me repeat my answer. I just found that extremely unprofessional. So I sat there and waited 20 minutes for my scheduled appointment, since they recommend coming that early. I'm not quite sure why... Finally, the esthetician came out and greeted me. She asked me about my skin. Then said she would leave so I could disrobe. I said, I'd like to keep my clothes on if that were possible. She said I was to take off my top. I replied that it made me uncomfortable and I've never had to undress for a facial before. She continued to argue with me about why I needed to undress. After a while, she said she supposed I could keep my bra on, or offered me to keep my clothes on but I would leave soaking wet. I already felt uncomfortable, and now there was no way I was staying after all this pressure to take off my clothes. So I put my coat back in to leave. She assured me I would still be charged the $100 if I chose to leave. I suggested that maybe a heads up on the website would be nice, so people might know that they were expected to undress. (There is a very small space on the website that says most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing, but silly me assumed that was for a massage and not an express facial). She proceeded to tell me that people assume and just know that is how a facial works. Again, I've never had a facial where disrobing was even an option. She told me she's been doing this for 26 years and anywhere she's ever train and visited, that's the way it's always been done. I just felt extremely uncomfortable, feeling such pressure to take off my clothes. I went to leave, and the door was locked. She told me I had to wait for the receptionist to come back so I could leave. This puzzled me, since I could just turn the knob and unlock the door myself, which is what I did. It was just a very bizarre l, uncomfortable experience.

I tend to have issues along my entire posterior chain as the result of desk work and stress, and usually ask masseuses to focus on my upper and mid back. Because this was my first time in, I went with a full body massage. While there is a generic flow to most massages, several aspects of Rachel's stood out. Some massages I've had felt like various phases were dragging on. With Rachel, the order of operations felt sensible, timing felt appropriate for each muscle group, and the transitions between groups were smooth. The next facet of the session that stood out was attention to detail. Every group was warmed up prior to receiving a good combination of stretching and pressure. From feet to hands , it felt like all parts of the muscular groups were given care. Finally, and most importantly, Rachel made it abundantly clear that she is open to communication and feedback throughout every step of the session. Some places want you to sit quietly, and this doesn't always work for me. It takes time for someone to get to know you and your needs, which aren't fixed in time. Without communication, it's unlikely you get the most of the experience. All of this being said, I plan to visit again!

Review: Revive Yoga Collective…read more Revive Spa and Yoga Collective has been around CLE for years. I finally had an excuse to visit the newish location for a women's event - tea ceremony, sound bath, and women's lunar circle. It's is a sanctuary for anyone seeking relaxation and serenity. Revive Yoga Collective is located on the second floor of the Georgetown Square. It's a very clean and new-looking building. Fresh looking paint and clean aesthetic. The building is a bit hard to find. The GPS directs you to the apartment building across the street. When you'll find the location, you can park at the back of the building and enter through the back door. You'll find Revive Yoga Collective on the second floor (suite 207), it's one big room. What sets Revive apart is the sense of community and care. Everyone holding the workshop was very friendly. It's more than just a spa or studio--it's a collective that truly supports your wellness journey. I really found tea and lunar circle event very relaxing. The sound bowls sounded amazing in the space. Highly recommend for anyone looking to reconnect with themselves, de-stress, and feel renewed. Revive Spa offers Kundalini Yoga on Mondays at 6 PM. First class is free. Check out Cosmic Living Institute to sign up. P.S. I never visited the spa, so I can't provide my review of the spa at Revive.

WOW. Everything about this massage was amazing…read more This space is located within the Gordon Square arcade, a beautiful historical space that I didn't even know existed until I came here. There is ample free parking in the surface lot in the back, so no worries about street parking! The spa is located inside the arcade in suite 12. You can also conveniently book online on their website, which I love. The suite is small, but super cozy. Chrissy has decorated with plants, wall hangings, and the perfect lighting. Chrissy is FANTASTIC. This is easily one of the best massages I've ever had. I went in for a CBD massage as I was curious about this service. At the beginning of the massage, Chrissy offered me some CBD oil-infused water. This drink totally relaxed me before the massage even began! Chrissy utilized CBD, acupressure, cupping, and stretching to give me a dynamic massage that made me feel like a billion bucks. I have sciatica and a high stress job, so I am always tense. Chrissy's manipulation of my muscles with the multiple techniques she employed made me feel like butter by the end of the massage. I seriously couldn't recommend this place, or Chrissy, more.

I got there around 1pm but it took me 10 minutes to find somewhere to park because they do not have a designated parking lot. I go inside and ask for a massage and the woman spoke to another woman in their native language and then told me not right now because she had a 60 minute and 90 minutes massage scheduled. She asked if I could come around 5. I said no. She apologized and I left. The second time I called first around 4:45pm and asked to come at 5:30pm because I knew I was 20 minutes away and I still would have to find parking. She said okay come at 5. I said I would try depending on parking. I get there at 5:05pm and a different woman takes me to the room. She asks me to pay up front which is fine. I pull out my card and she said no card. Cash only. There isn't anything posted anywhere including on the website that says it is a cash only business. She directs me across the street to a convenience store that has an atm. I tell her I'm going to the bank to pull out cash so I don't get charged extra from the atm and my bank. I get back and the woman looks at the clock and then they speak again in their native language and then she asks if a 30 minutes massage would be okay because she has an appointment coming. I say no and I leave. This was not a good first, second or third experience...especially for me TRYING to become a customer. I called the next day to make a reservation and I I did successfully and for the same day. This time they make sure to say it is cash only. I make sure I have cash and when I go in and the woman has me pay up front. Not a problem. So she begins doing the massage and it was just the weirdest experience. She was breathing heavily and mainly just rubbed lotion on me the entire time. She seemed like she was either tired, bored or a combination of the two. There was very little music except what was out in the lobby. I was trying to focus on that but since this is more of an apartment style building you could hear the coming and going if people not to mention the people standing right outside the window having conversations. It was just a horrible experience.
